Worst company ever. Driver damaged my driveway and showed attitude when i asked him to be careful. His name is Robert Smith. He did not even delivered the goods and he took it back. I sent the picture of damaged property to manager John Walsh and He did not do any action and told me they can not do anything about it. They sucks. never ever stuck with those guys.
After all this when I spoke to Overstock they did not take any action and they are like whatever!!!. We can not do anything. They forgot that I paid overstock for the item and I am dealing with them not freight company. Nobody is paying for the damage done in my property.

Horrible company!
I placed an order for a school textbook 12/18. Christmas came and went and still no textbook. I checked the order and then realized after my purchase it showed a release date of 12/31 meaning it wouldn't even be processed until then. The semester started 1/11 so being nervous about arrival in time to read for class I emailed them about why there was such a delay and was told simply it wouldn't ship due to the prerelease date. So I kept waiting, then around 1/5 realized the pre release date either always was or changed to 12/31/2016....who orders a text book more than a year in advance?! Absolutely ridiculous and I cancelled the order. The customer service response then made it seem like I wouldn't get a refund and still need to watch my credit card to make sure it processes. I am now unable to read for my first week of classes and will never ever use overstock.com and suggest you don't if you want the item you order anywhere near when you order it!!

Cute Products That Break In a Week
I purchased an ottoman from Overstock. I was delighted when it arrived, but after 1 week of use, the leg of the ottoman broke in half. Overstock would not do anything about the defect and said the manufacturer did not warranty the product. Stick to Target or Sears if you want to buy cheap furniture. They will take it back if it breaks.

Shipping Scam!
This is the third time this has happened to me shopping at Overstock, and it will be my last, as I will never shop there again! Should have just paid a few $ more at Amazon.
I ordered a suitcase for my sister for Christmas. I ordered it on Dec 15. When I checked out it said it would arrive with standard shipping by the 23rd. I had not received an email saying it had shipped, so I logged into my account and it said the status was "shipped", but wouldn't arrive until the 30th. Not only was I surprised that it was coming a week later that it said it would, but why didn't I get an email saying it had shipped? The last time that I ordered an item that came later than promised I also did not receive an email saying it had shipped. Hmmmm.
So I contacted customer service and for my trouble/ their lie I'm getting a whole $15 refund. I was told the explanation was another "warehouse " mistake. After reading other reviews I guess I should be happy I'm getting anything this time.
The last time this happened I ordered a chair. When the date for it to arrive came and went, with no communication from them about the status of the item since its purchase, I contacted them only to learn that the item had been out of stock since before I ordered it. This was the first time I was told it was a "warehouse" mistake.
It just seems a little too coincidental that each time I've ordered something that didn't come in the time frame specified I've had to track down the status of the item on my own. I would speculate that Overstock is fully aware that my item ( probably many other items as well) wouldn't arrive in time for Christmas. They know you will ultimately buy something that will come in time for Christmas, so they either get you for expedited shipping, or quietly let it get there when it gets there- figuring a large portion of people will be too busy, forget, or just won't go through the trouble to complain. For those that do, you get a "we're sorry" (not really we already got your money) and a "Merry" (F-you and your gift giving) Christmas".
Never again.

Overpriced, slow delivery false promis
ordered a vanity, which was priced $200 more than home depot. Add 3 weeks to delivery a small vanity. I brought the price against the home depot and was promised a $100 credit but nothing to date. Empty promise !!!
terrible service!

Never again.
I had a terrible experience. I received a $100 gift card for Overstock.com and thought I would use it for my Christmas shopping. As I was checking out, it gave me no payment options- at all. They sent the products and said they would send an email of instructions on how to pay. Once I received the email I tried to pay using my gift card (again), and I was still unable to complete my transaction. I called the company to give them my gift card info and they WOULDN'T TAKE IT! They said since I checked out as a guest they wouldn't accept my gift card!!! I was so upset- but I have to pay for it somehow- so I offered my credit card information, and they said they would not take it over the phone! I would have to go back to the website to pay! I am absolutely appalled. I feel tricked. Instead of being able to enjoy a gift card I'm stuck with a bill. I'll be calling the Better Business Bureau today.

Cheap goods for high prices, not suitable for International shipping
Bought a Fuji Home Bar off them from the UK.
It arrived with almost every single piece in the box damaged in some way.
The comment about cheap Chinese goods is correct (and yes, the photos do look really nice, but don't be fooled).
The product was advertised as real wood but was actually MDF covered in a real wood layer, so it felt much heavier than MDF. I could tell this because a corner had been chipped off during transit. The metal supports had warped with some metal connectors bent. All pieces of wood had marks on them. 1 piece still had sticky paper attached to one whole side, which the manufacturer had clearly tried to peel off but couldn't (because it was too sticky and trying to pull it off left bits of paper everywhere that will have to be removed with chemicals) - this piece of wood was one of the centre pieces, so was meant to be seen on both sides. A bunch of screws were missing because they'd come loose in transit (which is probably what caused some of the damage). Some screws were actually taped to metal pieces with only a bit of tissue paper protecting them.
I've bought plenty of IKEA furniture in the past and say what you like about them, but they pack stuff well and it's rarely damaged. When this thing arrived, I thought it was a joke. There was no care or attention, I'm surprised these things even arrive in the US intact looking at the good reviews here, so maybe it's ok in the US. But definitely never get anything internationally from them.
Still trying to get a refund from them, but as it's overseas, it'll be unlikely we get anything. Will never buy from them again and will think twice about buying anything from the US.

Inadequate experience. Decent price may save overstock. Just don't contact them.
Terrible customer service on chat; did not solve issue. Still waiting for my shipment over a week and a half.
