Ordered a rug and it was delivered in a timely manner, however returning it has become a nightmare. When trying to return it, the gentleman said if I joined their membership the amount for shipping back the rug would be put on store credit for future usage. Today I checked my account and no refund for the rug has been made back to credit card. I called them and they said with membership the refund goes to store credit. What the Hell!!! The man who helped me said I should receive the amount back minus the shipping cost and also the amount refunded for the membership since I was cancelling it. Now I will wait and see if the amount is refunded in 3-5 days. He was a lot of help, but not feeling to confident that my refund will be there in 5 days. I will never buy from overstock again.

Talk about misleading businesses. I ordered an item which was in stock on July 15 I was given an estimated delivery date of July 18. Throughout the webpage it talked about due to the virus some shippers may be delayed but the majority of our items are delivered within the estimated time period. On July 17 I received an email from them stating that the item was shipped and would be arriving on the 18th. I thought that was somewhat odd that UPS will deliver on Saturday but that’s OK. I checked UPS and it said it was slated for delivery on the eighth 18th. On the 18th UPS change the delivery date until Monday the 20th between 830 and 1230. I took the day off to be there for the delivery. It never showed up. Went back online UPS shows that it was ready on the 17th in the morning for UPS pick up but there was no indication that the item was ever shipped contrary to what overstock told me. I spent two hours in online chat yesterday trying to get the issue resolved with Overstock. No resolution. Today I spent three hours in a text conversation with customer service again no resolution. Both of these gentlemen gave me the canned lines blaming the shipper. Subsequently I had a long phone conversation with the supervisor who understand the predicament. He verified that the item has never left the warehouse. He assured me that he would get the issue resolved today. I demanded a overnight delivery to make up for all of this issue. He stated he could not do that on his own it would talk to the warehouse. He promised he would get back to me with the resolution by today. I was generated I did not want the delivery status I wanted the item. Not surprisingly he never got back with me. When will these companies learn under promise and over deliver. Make the customer happy not angry. #overstock #overpromise #nocustomerservice

I ordered a special shampoo & conditioner from overstock. It said it shipped on 7/7, and was going to be delivered on 7/15. I kept checking the status on the USPS website but it kept saying waiting for the item. My friend works at the post office so I had her check and she said that the post office never received the item. I called overstock they said it hasn’t left the distribution center but if they don’t find it, it’s sold out now ..... I’m extremely disappointed. I waited 2 weeks to find out it’s lost and then now sold out. It was my first time shopping with them, and never will again.

I purchased what I thought was an original pair of Ray Ban sunglasses from one of Overstock's marketplace sellers, Focus Camera. I question the authenticity of the sunglasses. If I want to return them, I have to pay shipping and restocking fees. Very disappointed.

Complete fraud, I purchased an item as a guest and did not receive a confirmation email but had an order number. I noticed the financial transaction processed on my credit card. I contacted them online and they said that they had no record of the order. My credit card company has now taken up the dispute. Such a waste of time. My advice is to avoid and stick to a reputable online trader. I wish I had of checked Trust Pilot before placing the order.
