Ugh!! Stand in solidarity with me. Cannot give zero stars. Do not shop here. Don’t order anything from their website after 5 PM Eastern time. If you do, and if you use PayPal to make the purchase, the purchase will complete automatically without giving you a chance to review the details. So if, for example, you had just moved, and you knew you needed to double check the address, you wouldn’t be given a chance to do that. Because, the order is placed automatically upon returning to the overstock.com site from PayPal. That’s what happened to me. After the order was placed, I noticed it’s going to the wrong address, so I immediately try to change it. Overstock.com’s rule is that you cannot change an address once the order has been placed. But they suggest that you cancel the order within 30 minutes. So immediately, within five minutes, I am on chat and text and email with their customer service team. But no one is available. Someone got back to me three hours later it made it sound like it was my fault for not being awake at 3 AM to answer that text message. And to inform me of what I already knew, that it had been 30 minutes. In the morning I was furious that that … employee… made it sound like he was totally normal for showing up to the conversation three hours later. So I contacted another rep and we got started again. This dude told me that he could not cancel the order but not to worry, overstock would never leave me behind because I could return it as soon as I receive it. Again, I was furious, because I had already told this… Employee… That I would not receive the item because it was going to my old address. He apologized for not reading my messages and just copying and pasting a script, OK, he actually did not apologize for that, but he did apologize, and then sometime later, he said “good news we can cancel the order. Will send you an email in one to two business days“ And I said amazing thank you and then sometime later I got another response from him that said you haven’t been active so he had to go help more active customers in the chat now. Are you kidding me?!? I don’t have it in me to try to resolve this for a third time today. Overstock can literally keep the $29 and get… I can’t encourage anyone reading this, enough, to never shop overstock. Choose any other vendor. If not for you do it for me, stand in solidarity with me in this moment. I am furious. And how dare overstock.com come into my life and create this kind of negative energy on this beautiful first day of Aries season. Ugh!!

If I can give 0.5 star to overstock.com, I won’t give 1star. I placed an order for a rug which was on sale $148. Two days later, I received call from overstock, they said my payment has problem, the information is not matching, and keep ask me to cancel the order. I said I’ll check with the financial institution and if I need cancel it, I’ll do it online. In fact, the payment was taken from my credit card 2 days ago. But the customer service insisted to cancel it for me on the phone. I said no and hang up. 2 minutes later, I received the email to informed me my order was canceled. I back to the website and find out the item price increased from $148 to $180. This is perfect explained why they do that. Absolutely nasty overstock.com!!! Never ever buy any product from them again!

FedEx delivered my item to the wrong address. It was even signed by someone st some other business. when I contact overstock and inform them they tell me check with my neighbors, there are none. We are on a street that has over 100 business do they expect me to go in each business? She said wait 48 hrs they may still deliver because there is no picture proof of delivery. I informed her when you get a signature they don't take a picture it's only when no one is there they take a picture. FedEx site says proof of delivery signed by GHector. Do she continues to inform me the item is no longer in stock so she can't send me another one. So I told her then I will return the other items I received yesterday since I can't get the lost item as i bought everything to go together. She informed me I would be charged for the return labels. That is so unfair. It's not my fault and you are out of stock so the other items are not needed and I have to pay to return. That is poor customer service. This is my first and last time ordering with them

Horrible return process. I still cannot get a straight answer to what is going on and when I log into my account, it reads(sorry, there is an error) So, I cannot see what is going on in my account either??! They keep telling me just to call back and check?!!!! Are you serious right now???!!!!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered a an item I was told it would be shipped in only two days however my package was never shipped and the already charged my credit card. To make matters worse they still haven’t refunded me and they have the worst customer service.

Worst customer service. Each time I call I get a different answer from one of their representatives. When I ask to speak to a supervisor I am told one is not available. One representative even went so far as to tell me she was only allowed to transfer my call to her “lead” and her lead wasn’t working that day. I wasn’t even calling to complain, I was calling to right a $4500 error their warehouse department made in my favor (I ordered 3 of an item and they sent me 3 boxes of 30 each). Phone calls, email (which is listed as customer service but comes back with notice that it is an unmonitored email address) and finally a text message and I’m still uncertain if anyone is coming to retrieve the 87 items in 3 huge boxes that I didn’t order.

Every time I look at Overstock, then search for the same thing, I find it less elsewhere. Copy and paste the heading of the item and search it. EVERY TIME you can find it for less. They are by far the less priced for same item. Same thing with Overstock. Don't be duped by the commercials and name.

I have shopped at Overstock for many years. It appears that they are doing more price switching than ever before. I recently sent them an image of an item I planned to purchase but, rather than ordering at night, decided to make purchase the next morning. I double checked how long I had for the pricing and since I had more than 24 hours, decided to wait. I had sent an image of the item to my friend so happened to have a copy of the price and time remaining. Even though I spoke to customer service, Overstock would not honor the price. They blamed it on Safavieh changing pricing. Overstock should own the price since they had it on their website.
