I will never order from Overstock.com…
I will never order from Overstock.com again. Not only did they charge me $39 for 2 returns, they charged me for the initial discount I received when I placed my order. Get it together.

Horrible company and I am so disappointed. I ordered a larger item I had been eyeing for months. Of course it doesn't look as on their website when it arrives. I don't know how to ship it back safely but decided to try to, however, they want me to pay shipping! They send me something that doesn't look as on their website and I have to pay to return it? Won't budge so I filed a charge back and hoping to get my money back. I will never shop there again and I used to! Stay away. They will scam you.

Like many reviewers before have said, Overstock.com returns are a nightmare. I signed up for their "Club O" because it supposedly got you free returns. Apparently Club O free returns only apply to certain items (which you don't find out until after you order) and a very high percentage of items on Overstock.Com are sold or fulfilled by 3rd parties, which means you can't even initiate a return without a legnthy email process between you and the 3rd party where Overstock.com is not included.

Please don’t order from this place!!! I ordered a TV stand, after coupon savings it was $361. It arrived and was a different color than shown on the website. It was the color I ordered but the images on the website make it look like a different color, at least on my screen. So I contacted Overstock to do an exchange for another color. They told me I was not allowed to do an exchange unless it was the exact same item of the same color and the item was defective. So I initiated a return and was given a return shipping price of $168, which is insane, that’s 45% of the cost of the item. Then I notice if you sign up for their “Club O” for $20 per year, you get free returns. So I joined club O thinking I’d rather spend $20 than $168 to return this thing…only to find out “free returns” actually means you get a store credit for the full amount, but if you want the refund back to your original payment method, they still charge $168. Even though I wanted to order the same TV stand in another color, Overstock does not do exchanges of this kind so I would have to first mail the original one back to get the store credit to purchase the other color which is low in stock. I decided to sell the TV stand on my own and cut my losses to only $60 vs. $168 if I shipped it back. I then ordered the same TV stand in another color. It was expected to arrive about 5 days later. It never arrived, UPS was showing that it had never shipped and there was a delay in transit. Called Overstock and they assured me tracking would update in another 1-2 days, it never did. Item still showing that it never shipped a week after it was supposed to arrive and low stock. Contacted Overstock again and was told they would provide me with an update in 1-2 days. Shame on me for believing that for a second time. Called again after 3 days and they said the same thing so I demanded this matter to be escalated to a manager. I was told no managers are on duty and someone would get back to me in 1-2 days. 2 days later an email from a “manager” telling me I would get an update in 1-2 days! I contacted Overstock again, and was told I would be sent a replacement since the other was lost in transit, FINALLY. At this point the price of the item was $90 less than when I originally ordered it so I requested the current list price since I not only had to wait weeks and my item item never arrived, but if it is now being reordered, I should certainly get the current list price. Overstock refused to honor the CURRENT list price when they reordered my item. I was given no tracking for this item and a few days after my Overstock account showed the replacement was in process, it then said it was cancelled. Confused and concerned the item was not coming at that point (also item is now showing out of stock), I again call Overstock asking for an update and I was told they would, you guessed it, update me in 1-2 days. I got tired of contacting them and the TV stand finally showed up and of course to add fuel to fire, it was damaged. The corner was jammed in and missing the wood finish exposing the chip board. I put it together anyway hoping it would not be visible once assembled but it was - right on the front. Contacted Overstock about the damaged item and they offered to send a replacement part, I said ok. The next day I get an email explaining the item is now out of stock and they can’t send me a replacement so if I would like a full refund, please let them know. So FINALLY being offered compensation for all the drama yet they want me to confirm if I want it or not haha, no I don’t want a refund -please! I respond to the email and got no response so I contacted them the following day to make sure my refund was being processed. I was then told I need to return my item to get a full refund. Insane. Utterly insane. I explained the email I received and read it verbatim and they acted as if they never sent it. After arguing with them back and fourth they finally agree to a refund as the email indicates. I ask them to confirm the amount of the refund and they tell me I can only get back $300 because they don’t refund coupons. I paid $361 AFTER coupons were applied. Argued back and fourth some more and was finally told I would get back the full $361. This was via online chat, and when I clicked to save the conversation, it saves it as an editable text file. Super curious if I will ever get this refund, I’m sure I’ll have to contact themevery 1-2 days for the next month only to be told another lie or something different. After all that, if I hadn’t fought tooth an nail with them, I wouldn’t get anything. Still stuck with a damaged item that is now out of stock because they wasted weeks screwing up multiple orders. And is it even legal to charge someone the old advertised price and not the current price?

Horrible experience. Return shipping is horribly priced a manager at customer service gave me an email address to forward information to that is unmonitored knowing that there would be no assistance on the other end. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

I bought 2 rugs for approximately $50 each and They were cheaply made, light weight and see thru. When I sent them back I was charged more than the price of one of the rugs ($54) just to ship them back! I will never order from them again!!

Was going to purchase a dining set with the price showing $937 but if I give my email address and sign up I would get an additional 15% off so I signed up but no extra 15% off at checkout. This is not the first time this has happened. I cancelled my last order because of the same issue. Will not be shopping at overstock.com in the future due to their dishonest practices.
