I have not made a purchase from overstock.com since Nov. 2021. They recently pulled my credit card information from that order and charged me for a ClubO membership without any authorization. They claim they will reverse the charges, but I am FURIOUS. This is so unethical--what gives them the right to store my credit card info from a purchase almost 18 months ago? DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I canceled the order the same afternoon and it was sent anyway. I canceled at the door and returned the item and still haven't received my refund. Overstock not helpful in resolving the issue

First time (...and last time) customer. Ordered item online, finally received wrong item via UPS after a shipping delay. Called and texted company to report their error. Overstock sent their choice of a substitution without notifying me, or providing the option of canceling. AND, the substitution is advertised as lower priced, so I was overcharged. I'll stick with Amazon, eBay, and my local stores.

After placing a $2500 order with Overstock, I immediately (within an hour) requested a cancellation of one small portion of the order ($67). I actually received an email with the cancellation request confirmation BEFORE I received a confirmation email of the order itself. That is how quickly the cancellation request was made. And while the items were not shipped for two days, the items were shipped anyway. Meanwhile, I ordered a replacement item. When I contacted customer service about returning that small portion of the order, they would only return it for a fee and only for store credit. They would not allow a return with a refund. After speaking with three different agents I requested to speak with a manager. They would not connect me to a manager, and instead promised that one would call back. No call back.

So bad. I don’t know why I don’t learn my lesson. I know for sure now. Super poor quality, took 2 weeks to get it. Customer service is zero help. Over it. Just don’t bother shopping here, you’ll be incredibly disappointed.

This company way overcharges for returns...$50 to return a rug that wasn't as advertised. To save time and money I shipped an item back myself and had to jump through hoops to get my refund after they received it within 2 days. It took 2 phone calls and a month to get my $400 refund. Overstock also has a 5:00 cut-off time to pay your Overstock credit card bill. If it is after 5:00 on the due date they charge a late fee. Seriously?? Anything they have on their site is offered on Amazon and major department stores like Macy's Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Saks...ALL of which offer FREE returns. Save yourself the headache, time, and trouble and shop where you aren't being charged for everything, and have the option to return and pay without penalties. I'm absolutely DONE with Overstock.

Sure wish I had read more reviews about Overstock. Bought curtains and a curtain rod, then found them a lot cheaper at Walmart- same brand. Drop shipment from a vendor Overstock uses sent my curtains through UPS that ended up at the Post Office who charged me an extra $17 fee for "wrong address" on top of a free shipment. When I returned the package to sender, Overstock charged me full price for the overpriced and free shipment curtains, and I get nothing but screwed. I saw that Overstock offered a free membership in "Club O" for military veterans and applied and was accepted, then told I never applied. Total ripoff from start to finish. Don't do like me and not see reviews first. Update: 4/13/23 Overstock has refunded me the price of the curtains. USPS decided that they would deliver my house, so no more problems with shipping to PO Box.

I came here to leave a review for Overstock after my recent positive experience with them and I'm shocked to see all the negative reviews! I'm kinda glad I didn't see those reviews before I made my purchase with Overstock. I ordered a dining table and it was delivered to me with the tabletop broken in half (probably the fault of the shipping company). I contacted Overstock right away and after several emails back and forth with the Oversize department, they shipped me a new identical table. That's excellent customer service for me (or maybe I was just lucky :) )
