I went to McGivern Diamonds (overnightdiamonds.com) after a long search for the perfect diamond for an engagement ring. Their prices were the best around and they had a great selection. Michael McGivern, the owner, was the most professional and caring person I have ever dealt with in the retail world. Michael personally responded to all of my emails within minutes. The ring and stone were absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely go back for my next diamond purchase. I was looking for a 10 year anniversary ring for my wife and we were getting the run-around from our local jewelers in San Francisco. We were looking for a Fancy Yellow diamond cushion cut with a very specific ring setting. Our local jewelers were very slow to respond and had limited options to look at. So we decided to go online. I considered BlueNile as well, but found McGivern had a better selection for what we were looking for. I ordered the diamond and then the ring setting over Labor Day weekend which included multiple emails with the owner. He was extremely responsive even over the holiday. The ring was delivered before I expected it and it is perfect. My wife is thrilled. Outstanding experience.

This is my second purchase from Mike and every time I am very impressed with the value. I purchased very high quality GIA diamonds for a three stone ring for my wife 10 years ago.. The ring has always appraised for more than I paid and right on the 4C. I just purchased nice earrings with EGL rating and Mike did say they would appraise for 3-4. Color grades less and 1 clarity grade. They did come in 3 color and 1 clarity and the value appraised much higher. Mike and I exchanged several emails to find just the right pairing and price. He was very prompt and easy to work with. I would recommend Mike to anyone and to my sons when they are in the market for engagement ring.

I can not begin to express my satisfaction and gratitude with the service, quality of product, and value my husband and I received in purchasing my dream ring.
