I had a 500G WD External drive that worked fine for storage... until one day. Browsing all the avenues and opportunities I could find, I eventually landed on the Website for Outsource. After a brief online discussion, I called and spoke with Alex D. Alex walked me through the entire process and list of options... no pressure. Alex was also able to work through payment options and offered a veteran discount as well. If you need your data recovered, call these folks and discuss your options. They offer as good a price as you will find from any reputable recovery center. These folks are top notch and the only ones to turn your project over to if you need data rescue. Nov 2016

This was my first attempt to revive a Windows laptop with a very dead internal disk that wouldn't mount even with my file recovery tools. The owner was anxious about losing valuable documents and irreplaceable family pictures. I hoped that the repair performed by Outsource Data Recovery would allow me to at least recover those files. Outsource analyzed the disk and reported that it could be repaired for a very reasonable $60 (plus shipping and insurance). After their repair I was able to recover the important files and even get the laptop running again with the repaired disk. I will definitely come back to Outsource the next time I have to tackle a failed disk drive.

Recovery took longer than we would have liked or discussed initially. We ended up re-producing a video production that was on the drive. We would have liked to avoid all the re-work, but because of time we had to re do it because the recovery was still questionable. We agreed to proceed anyway since there was other valuable data. Data was recovered as described, and billing was as agreed upon via the initial quote.

This company was able to rescue all my data and files. Hard lessons to learn need a good back up plan but I am glad Outsource.com was there for me.

Windows 10 upgrade killed my hard drive! Or at least that's how it appeared. I called 3 different HD recovery services. The first 2 quoted hundreds of $$ just to look at my drive. This is a personal drive, mostly backed up but might have some stuff I missed. I really just wanted to know if there is something worth salvaging. I was about to give up, but I contacted Outsource Data Recovery over the phone (I also used the online chat during the course of recovery and it worked GREAT!) because they have the $60 quote in their web ad. The tech who answered asked a couple of questions, told me it sounded like a PUIS failure (Power Up In Standby), neither of the others offered that suggestion, BTW. Said he'd seen a lot of PUIS failures post Win10 upgrade. Suggested I send in the HD, no charge to check it out (THEY SENT A PREPAID MAILING LABEL!!), and they would let me know if the HD was repairable or would require more effort to get it operating. If the repair was simple, $60 + return shipping. Really? Can this be a scam? What did I really have to lose? I sent in my HD, within 2 days I got a reply by email that my HD most likely could be repaired for the $60 quote, although they wouldn't know if the data were recoverable... uh oh, maybe this is where they get you? Outrages charges to recover your data? But, I authorized payment to repair and return without them actually attempting to recover the data. I got a quick reply that my HD was on it's way back. Wow! I wasn't going to be held up for ransom after all. But would it actually work? The HD made it back to me in a couple of days, I connected to a USB external interface and VOILA! we have data and a working HD! Stunned. Quickly backed up to another external HD and all is great with the world. Ok, I was reluctant at first, afraid it was too good to be true, but thought, "What do I really have to lose?" Truth, the results were amazing. Fast, professional, knowledgeable people who did what they said and treated me like a person rather than a cash register. THANK YOU!

I received a recommendation from my IT professional to use Outsource Data Recovery for my crashed hard drive. I contacted them by phone, registered online, and dropped off the hard drive. Within a couple days they analyzed the damage and was able to recover all of my data in a few more days. I picked up the new hard drive and have all my data back. Thank you Outsource Data Recovery!
