Mountain Splendor was one of the first cabins built in the Starr Crest Resort. The resort was a dream become reality by Randy Ussery Construction. Outrageous Cabins has been in business since 2009 and has grown from just 4 cabins to 53. The owner Thomas Gigliotti takes great pride in his cabins and sees to it that each Guest has the best possible stay and experience from the time of check-in to the time of departure.

Great stay in Simple Comforts cabin
Stayed in the Simple Comforts cabin with my wife and 2 kids on vacation in Gatlinburg. The cabin was great. Close to Dollywood, but secluded feeling. The cabin itself was great. Didn't use the hot tub, so can't comment there. Furnishings were great, and beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay at another Outrageous Cabins property the next time we head up for a long weekend or other vacation in the Gatlinberg area.

When you are planning your return trip you may want to consider one of our 2 bedroom cabins in the Starr Crest Resort. These are only 2 miles from where you stayed previously and would include a game room which the children may enjoy. You can view these cabins on our website or give us a call if you would like any more information.

Animal House
The cabin and the view were amazing. The beds were very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

Nice cabin
The cabin was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly. Wish prices were lower when booking ahead.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your time with us. We try and keep the prices among the cheapest in the resort, however, we are unable to discount any further than the walk-in special which you received as this is the lowest rate offered at any point during the year.

Always clean nicely decorated
Always clean nicely decorated, I would like to suggest hangers in the closets.

We have gotten this suggestion several times but unfortunately we had to discontinue supplying hangers as they would very frequently go missing.

Great, clean cabins!!!
My family has stayed with Outrageous cabins for several years and have nothing but good things to say about them!!! The cabins are always extremely clean and always appear like the pictures. Every cabin we have stayed in has had a great view!! Especially the ones that have the view of "The Island" that has the huge neon ferris wheel at night!! We have never had any problems with the cabins. The roads going up to the cabins are not that steep compared to other cabin rental companies. The cabins are usually all very close to the main attractions. We used to stay with the company Hidden Mountain, but had too many problems too many times! Outrageous cabins have the best price for the quality for sure! I would definitely recommend Outrageous cabins!

If you are planning to return, we do have several cabins with the same resort with a view of the Pigeon Forge city lights as well as an up close view of the Dollywood fireworks shows during summer months that you may also want to consider.
