"Tennessee Dream"......I THINK NOT!!!
We stayed in the Tennessee Dream cabin for 3 nights 10/18/18-10/21/18. We renamed the cabin "Tennessee Smoky and Scratchy" while we were there. The cabin is advertised online as non-smoking, however when we opened the door the first thing that hit you was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. The cabin was even equipped with cigarette ash pails on both of the balconies. My husband called the front desk to ask if the cabin was non-smoking and they said it was. He told them of the strong smell of cigarettes and they didn't seem concerned about it. We proceeded to open up all the windows and doors and turn on all the fans to try to air the cabin out. That didn't work. We had to buy candles, plug-in Frabreeze, as well as spray Frabreeze to use in the cabin as the smell permeated throughout the cabin. The first thing I smelled when I woke up the first morning in the cabin was smoke. The towels smelled like smoke when we went to take our shower. Clearly Tennessee Dream is a smoking cabin by the nauseating, overpowering smell the cabin has. For people with allergies and asthma this is a huge health issue! Both my sister and husband coughed the whole time we were there and we all ended up having to take decongestants just to be able to breathe. Ridiculous!!! False advertising!!! Now to the scratchy part...The sheets were soo stiff and scratchy they were abrasive to the skin to sleep on!!! I could swear they had a grit to them. They were also ill fitted on the beds. Needless to say none of us got much sleep due to being so uncomfortable. The whole cabin is old and tired and needs a serious over haul. The living room couch is so worn down you can feel the springs. Cookware is limited in number and choices. Made preparing breakfast challenging. On a positive note..beautiful view of the mountains and the hot tub appeared clean and well maintained. Overall, greatly disappointed in the cabin it's self and would not recommend staying there.

Marisa, First and foremost, we would like to send our deepest apologies for the poor experience you had during your last stay with us. We pride ourselves in having exceptional cabins that blow expectations out of the water and we are sorry to have fallen short with you. With that being said, this cabin, as well as all of the other cabins we own, are absolutely not smoking cabins. We have a no smoking policy, however, there are some guests who do not respect our policies and smoke anyways. We assure you that our team does take serious action when situations like these occur, but with this kind of issue, it is difficult to resolve matters immediately. Keep in mind, if our calendar had allowed it, we would have been be more than happy to move you to a different cabin for the inconvenience and apologize that this wasn't an option. As far as the scratchy sheets and limited cookware, please let us know if you need anything extra or changed during your time with us, so we are guaranteed to make your visit more enjoyable. We are always pleased to accommodate our guests, as best as we can, with everything they need for their stay. And to acknowledge your positive note, we are happy to hear you enjoyed the mountain views and hot tub. We do hope your next visit with us is above expectations. Best Regards, Outrageous Cabins
