I bought this for my dog years ago for left rear and really didn't use it. My current dog is having issues with right rear so i bought the attachment for the right rear leg. Honest review, this is an overpriced piece of junk. It is almost impossible to attach as the say in the instructions, and it will keep falling off even when you do. If you want to try a brace buy a cheap one, the cheap ones are no different than this one.

This Brace enabled our dog to walk again as we didn’t opt for surgery due to her age. There was an amazing difference as soon as you put it on she could walk rather than hopping on three legs. She healed correctly with the brace with a supervised limited exercise program. I give it 10/10. Once you had got the fitting correct it was easy to put on and take off. It was a lot easier that a carry sling for her back end as she was rather heavy 😀

We bought this for our dog. Unfortunately it does not work for him, he couldnt even get up wearing it. :( This doesnt help dogs with a weak back. Which is sad, but we can try something else. However, we are truly unhappy to realise that they do not let us return the item. We would not have been so brave to spend over 300 dollars to get this if we had realised it before purchasing. We absolutely feel stupid. I recommend not to buy it if you aren't certain it will work for your puppy. Absolutely Unhappy with ORTHODOG.

we have a 13 year old chow and brace with rest and loving care helped heal his torn CCL. any question i had was quickly answered by ash and i would recommend company and product highly. we felt workmanship was outstanding even though we periodically had to adjust velcro straps. it looks almost new after 10+ weeks of use

The customer service is absolutely amazing I give them more than five stars if I could and their product is absolutely great but you gotta get it right otherwise contact these people and they will help you out and send them some photos

I wouldn't give this company a one-star if I had the choice. Orthodog has been the worst customer service company I have ever bought merchandise from. I very rarely write a review but seeing how my experience mimics all other reviews here I cannot resist. These reviews are here so we can protect ourselves as consumers. I have a dog with a torn ACL and looked into many options as others have on their reviews. This brace is advertised as a effective brace for a much lower cost. I can attest to the same treatment by this company as others have had. Their customer service is pathetic. They are.polite to sell but angry if you are not satisfied with the product. I had my vet prepare the measurements for this brace so my pup would have the best fitted outcome. After providing the measurements and giving this brace a shot I have had nothing but losses. I would have been much better off spending the 300.00 difference for a brace that was made for my dog. This merchandise is not what it is descibe as. It is a velcro slightly adjustable trap that locked my dogs hind legs to the floor because of the slippage in the knee fitting that cannot be resolved. I spoke with the company in a friendly manner to explain my issues with the product to then hear I needed to take pictures of my dog walking in this brace as well as videos so they could make a recommendation on how to adjust the brace or send me another size. Are you kidding? I said the dog cannot walk in this brace. He did not want to move after quickly learning the trap would fall to his ankles locking him to the ground. I felt horrible not for me but for my dog. I contacted my vet which help me with the initial measurements and again to help fitting the brace. Even with expert help they said NO WAY is this going to work. I PROCEEDED TO CONTACT THE COMPANY AGAIN! They did not return my call. Without resolution I then proceeded to contact my Visa company because they have a extra level of protection. I have now opened 3 consecutive disputes on this item because the merchant attests that they have not received the merchandise back. I have provided a tracking number. Wth? I will be contacting the Visa company again and the BBB. NOW I DO NOT HAVE THE MERCHANDISE AND I AM OUT $254.00 AS time goes on here I am sure we will hear them respond to my review with the same demeanor as they previously responded to others. I absolutely would have been extremely joyful had this been what it was advertised to be. I was anxiously waiting for the merchandise to arrive to help my dog and relieve his discomfort but it just became a horrible experience. They will sell but not return that seems to be their ongoing MO. I used this merchandise of course to try and get my dog fitted. The merchandise was used 4 times for fitting purposes for a total of 4 hours. My dog has hair so I am sure there are some residual hairs in the device but would you not expect they would know from experience how to refurbish or clean the returned merchandise from their customers. I am just sick of dealing with this now its out of principle. If you try this just know you have been warned!

This is one of the worst products I've ever bought. What a waste of money. Do not waste your money! Bad Company and people who work there also.

I ordered the OrthoDog Harness for my elderly Shepherd with hip problems. Within a few hours of wearing the harness, once we took it off of her, she was completely immobile. Please beware! This harness doesn't work. And on top of that, they don't let you return the items once purchased---they're using the COVID excuse (i.e. cleanliness and such), however, it's just a way for them not to refund your money for a faulty item. I wish I had never put this on my dog. Please BEWARE! Instead of these hoax fixes, go see a vet a seek an effective treatment option for your dog.
