Nabbed me a pair of the huarache strap sandals in an 8.5 Wide. The fit was true to size, and the craftmanship was *there*. The folks over on Origo's email and Instagram helped me with questions over finding a spacious style and size that fit my preferences (no toes touching ANYTHING, but please have a secure fit through the heel!) and everything turned out perfect. I do have to pay extra for shipping to Hawaii, so I was glad their customer service was responsive and knowledgeable. They helped me get the fit right so a return was never necessary. I got the Toffee color, which starts off as more of a warm orange straight out of the box. The underside of the leather straps are sueded, the cutting and sewing are exact, and the smooth all-leather construction feels flexible and airy. The weaving of the straps allow this to be the only barefoot shoe I've found that lets my dancer feet move through their full range of motion when I walk. I have extremely wide, extremely thin feet with a very narrow heel and long square toes. My mom has a more classically shaped foot. They look and feel good on both me and my mom, though I admit the shoe flatters her foot shape a bit more. After a month of wear, the color has slowly darkened in a flattering way. They're great for walking and biking in hot humid environments. Because of the heritage look, they're extremely easy to either dress down or elevate an outfit. I even prefer these for weightlifting, as they're wide yet well-fitted enough to let me execute heavy loads. Clean up is easy, and afterwards I air them out and let them rest after a long day. I love this company. They've got great values, and their styles read to me as heritage, unfussy, and people-driven in the best way. They have a great thing going on, and I genuinely can't wait to collect more shoes from them, as they really make my outfits come alive. I wish there were styles that suited full grain thicker leathers that develop character along with resoleable designs for my sake, but know it wouldn't work with the signature language and feel of their ultra thin and flexible shoes. It just really means I fell in love with this shoe and want it to last forever. I'm looking forward to having these as my weekend mainstays for a very long time.

It is always difficult buying shoes online, but there were some ways Origo made this even moreso. When reading all provided information about fit, I measured my feet and chose the according size. When they arrived nearly two weeks later, they were much too big. In order to exchange, Origo’s process requires them to receive the first pair, inspect, then send the second. I emailed customer service to let them know I wanted the second pair delivered to a different address. Two days later I received a shipping notification and customer service notified me they were sent to my original address. It was as though my request to have them mailed to a new address was ignored. Because of this, I had to deal with logistical complications to arrange for pickup. When I finally got the second pair, they were slightly too small and, because I’d worn them for a few hours, were ineligible for either an exchange or return. They're cute, though uncomfortable and, I fear, not worth the price paid. It’s not likely I’ll ever buy from Origo again.

Compré los tennis de tela negra y aunque están muy bonitos y cómodos de la punta del pie, la parte del empeine donde comienzan las agujetas es demasiado angosta e incómoda. Los usé algunas veces pero tuve que volver a mi calzado viejo porque no pude con la incomodidad. Ahora que sé que necesito plantillas, y eso agrega un pequeño volumen extra, es incluso menos viable seguir usándolos. Es una lástima porque por lo demás, están muy bien. Tal vez otros modelos sean más anchos pero al no poder probarlos antes de comprar, prefiero no arriesgarme con otra compra.

I bought a pair of the Huarache sandals which I adored and wore almost everyday for a month. Unfortunately , in frame the bottom part of the sandal started separating. So I contacted Origo about the issue to see how I could fix the shoe myself. They were unbelievably kind and understanding. They offered a full replacement or refund which I truly appreciated. They shipped out the replacement within a few days and now I have two awesome pairs of sandals! Im going to re-glue the bottom of the first pair because I can't bring myself to get rid of them. The whole experience with customer service was above and beyond!! Thank you for the amazing product and super star service! 🤩😍

I been very delighted and comfortable with ORIGO SHOES. I will order in January 2027 a pair of the cotton canvas for my friend when he arrives to USA. Thx
