This website used to work great for adding subtitles. Opus doesn't include punctuation, so I add it myself every time. Now, whenever I add punctuation, the timing is completely ruined. So I either have to look like an idiot when posting content or pick a new platform to add subtitles to my videos. I pick the latter.

I accidentally forgot to cancel my yearly subscribtion and was charged for a full year. Despite many negative reviews about the support, they replied to my ticket after a few days and refunded me in full — no questions asked. Stay calm, be clear, and persistent. It worked for me.

Listen, Opus has a lot it can do to save you time. BUT it will also nickle and dime you at every turn. Every little extra thing that's helpful will cost you. Even with their membership. Their point system is trash and greedy. Look for a company that is the opposite of their business model.

No way of having clips cut that are in sync with audio despite the original video is in sync. Other big issues that can be worked around but still, lack of features like lack of metadata, audio not in sync and on top of all a useseless support (they ask me to check internet connection when they generate the clips) makes this app unusable

i was ripped off by opus clips. they took my money and i still cannot download the clips without the water mark. when i try to reach customer serrvice chatbox, the AI in the chatbox tells me to press a button that does not exists. then it sends me to a link that just goes back to my account where i cant access the clips. it deleted one of my projects so i have to use axtrea credits to creat it. these people are theives. do not use them!

I have been trying to get a response from the OpusClips support team regarding my account not reflecting my payment; credit card charged. It's now been 10 days; I am going to my credit card company next. TERRIBLE tech support ... too bad, I kinda liked the product.

Pricing is completely out of control I was using Opus Clip on the free tier and I was blocked from downloading a short, I thought hey why not upgrade and try out some of the other features. I’m going around trying the extra features for the next week or so and I’m not getting any error messages when I set up scheduling and b-roll for various videos. I come back to find none of my scheduled posts have worked and all of the videos lined up to receive b-roll had failed. Then I looked closer at the tiers, it seems I upgraded to their Starter Tier for $15 month. None of the features I was trying to use were on that plan. So then I’m thinking what can I actually do on my $15 plan, the only difference I can see is that there is no longer a watermark. I considered upgrading to the Pro plan to get scheduling and B-Roll but you only get a good price if you pay $170 upfront for a year otherwhise it’s $29 a month. Who are these prices for, creators that are already very successful. I don’t understand why this company will not cater for the smaller creator which amounts to millions of hobbyists. Opus clip in their lack of wisdom provide a ‘Starter tier’ at $15 which is more expensive or matches other a.i subscriptions like Suno etc.. and you know what the so called Starter tier is absolutely miserable, you can’t do anything special on it. I feel like this company is destined to fold and I hope they do, it would be nothing for them to implement a tier for smaller creators, the starter tier should be that solution, the user could have a limited number of B-Roll and scheduling. Thoroughly unimpressed, to think that I have been a customer since the start and even after acquiescing to the prompts to upgrade and paying $15 a month I still don’t get to try their B-Roll feature or scheduled posting.
