Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. And it happens on a regular basis. Unprofessional, arrogant, unable to communicate clearly, ridiculous policies, etc. Use ANY other provider, you will be much happier if you stay away from optum.

They lied to get me to change my prescription over to them, and they wasted an enormous amount of my time correcting their series of screw ups. I signed up because they said I could get 3 prescriptions at once and have them all earlier. This was a lie and they tried to frame it like I must have misunderstood them (very condescending). Then when their prescription actually came super late when I needed my meds on time they lied again and said I could pick it up at my old pharmacy.

Needs to be 0 review. It would have to be a couple of pages long to list all the things they do wrong. REPEATEDLY!! Over and over and over!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I just changed jobs and can no longer use Express Scripts for my mail order. Since you can save decent money I decided to use my new mail order pharmacy OptumRx. At this point I'm willing to pay more money for my prescription rather than deal with OptumRx. What a joke! They clearly use offshore customer service which can make it difficult when speaking to a customer service rep. It's always noisy in the background which can make it hard to hear them. I put in an order for some time sensitive meds. Please note that nowhere on their app is there an option to transfer prescriptions. Ok, they said they reached out to my doctor and didn't hear back. I decided to call my doctor and they told me since I still have refills available at ES that the new pharmacy should be able to call and get them transferred. So I called Optum back and they said they normally don't do that but asked for ES number and they'd get it transferred. A day later I got notification that my order was cancelled. I called them and was told they had no notes about calling ES and that I would have to do it. WHAT? I thought about it for a minute and decided I was going to use CVS instead. I know I'll pay more in the long run, but I'll avoid stress and headaches. I called CVS and they said they'd take care of it. THANK YOU CVS!

This could easily be a 1,000 word epistle about how awful OptumRx operates. I'll keep it short! Do not trust them. If your life depend on meds, go elsewhere! They don't deserve even a one-star.

This company was great years ago but in the last 2 years they are awful. I have been sent medicines I no longer take even after I asked them to remove them from my list of RX's and they assured me they had. I told them I would call when I needed a Rx and NEVER to automatically fill them. They said yes in their broken English and then low and behold I get charged for meds I havent asked to renew. This has gone on for almost a year now. Unfortunately I didnt document my calls with them and now I wish I would have.

I have been fighting with Optum Rx since September over them asking for a credit card number for no cost prescriptions. I have not been able to get my meds for my heart condition for two months since I would not give them a credit car number. I went round and round with them on the phone probably about 6 or 8 times, and when I asked for a supervisor, they said there was no supervisor available. Normally I would give a credit card number they charged my wife's credit card when we told them not to for a $421.00 prescription, on the website it said it was $150.00. We finally got our money back but we could not pay all of our mortgage that month because of that. When you call their customer service line you are connected to some idiot from a third world country who cannot speak English. They must no have access to a computer because you have to tell them everything about your prescriptions. I finally decided I needed the medicine and gave them a credit card number. The first thing they did was cancel my order because while they were screwing around the prescriptions expired so I had to get new ones from my doctor. I made a complaint with Medicare and UHC said they did an investigation and they could not find where I had made one phone call to them. I would seek an attorney to sue them, but we are on social security and with Biden trying to bankrupt all of us, we cannot afford to do so.

The representative (Ramses Rivera) was very polite and very helpful. He stayed with me on the phone for 2 1/2 Hours to help me resolve an issue with a local pharmacy. Thanks!
