Future MotionReviews of onewheel.com

This product has dangerous features built into it that can cause serious injuries no matter how coordinated or athletic you are. You do not have control with this product. I’d stay away from future motions.

Hello, (I am in Europe, it may be different in the USA). I return to my opinion of Future Motion. Indeed I bought a Pint X which has already been changed 3 times due to battery wiring problems. I was delighted with the speed of reaction of Future motion. But unfortunately I realize that the problem has never been solved. They just changed the board 3 times for a new one. Today I decide to open the battery of my 4th board on the advice of friends of the community. Indeed I'm tired of sending back and waiting for a new board every time. And BIM ! Surprise which is not one, the wiring of the battery is pinched and some wires are bare. I sent the photo of the wiring in question to Future Motion and they tells me that I should not open the battery and that the warranty is void. I expected it but this board is 2 months old. I still don't understand why Future motion doesn't solve this design problem and prefers to send new boards back until they are out of warranty. So I agree with the other reviews i reed on network, be carreful with Pint X and don't trust Future Motion.

Love the XR, board was faulty at first (not engaging feetpad), causing a fall. But Customer experience was okay and sent me a replacement footpad without much questions.

Surprisingly Swell Repair After reading these reviews I dreaded sending my OW GT back for service. I had the board for less than a month when it ghosted into a swimming pool. It wouldn't turn on after that. I threw it back in the box and kept it in the garage for over a year before finally sending it back in. FM covered shipping, fixed the board and sent it back to me within a week! No questions asked. I truly think FM is working hard to improve their customer service reputation. This was my first experience with service and I was very pleased. Will be sending in my first gen OW for a repack and wheel replacement next. My XR is still going strong...and excited to get some mileage on the GT now that it's back. Thanks FM for taking care of me!

They do not support right to repair. They force you to send it back to them for proprietary parts and service. DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS! Report them for fraud on the ftc website. It should not cost $600 for a BATTERY or $225 for a single small tire. This is a crime against their own customer base and they should have to face the consequences of that. BOYCOTT!!!

My experience with this company has been very good. My Pint board works really well -- no issues with it whatsoever. The only problem I had was with the charger which failed after a month, but Future Motion dealt with it very quickly and sent me a replacement.

I bought 2 GT’s for my kids for Christmas. The first board wouldn’t engage, we had to send the foot sensor in, which they replaced, other than the shipping costs because apparently nothing was wrong but yet it worked when they sent it back. Our second board quit working about 5 months in. Had to ship the whole board in, they claim water damage has ruined the motor and something else. They claim these boards are for all terrain and water resistant. My son has only ridden it once in a mild rain storm. They sent me a bill for just shy of $700 to fix it. Their “warranty” covers $0 for water damage, they said in the future don’t ride it in any moisture. Even though they say they’re water resistant… they are not. They are expensive, for the price and being a US company I would expect more on their warranty. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the $3200 I have already spent on one board. Not to mention their warranty is only for a year and is a limited warranty at that…. I’m afraid of future repair costs of these boards, save yourself the headache and don’t buy one.

Awful customer service, snake like business practices. Never buying another one or recommending it to anyone. I wish I could find all the people I did reccomend it to once upon a time and take it back. Awful
