I wish I could leave zero stars. This is an awfu company to deal with as they pretend as if they are working to assist with your issues and never following through. They never have items in stock and pretend as if the vendor needs to refund your money. Had to dispute with credit card. Stay away!!!

Extremely frustrating return experience — no response after four attempts I have now contacted One Kings Lane four separate times trying to complete a return and still cannot get anyone to provide the return instructions. We attempted to assemble the desk but could not even get past the first step because the drawer would not open. The desk was therefore never assembled or used and has essentially remained in its original box. I also provided One Kings Lane with photos documenting the condition of the furniture. I initiated the return within the return period and initially received a response, but since then I have followed up repeatedly and have now gone over a week without a response or resolution. Meanwhile, we have a very large boxed piece of furniture sitting in our home that we are simply trying to return. I cannot complete the return without One Kings Lane providing the necessary authorization and instructions. I understand that customer-service issues happen, but having to reach out four times just to get instructions for an already-initiated return is incredibly frustrating. I would simply like someone from One Kings Lane to respond, process the return, and arrange for this furniture to be returned. Order #1042306 — I would appreciate someone from One Kings Lane contacting me and resolving this return as soon as possible.

I ordered a mirror that arrived broken. I contacted customer service immediately after opening the box and provided photo evidence of the damage. The representative declined to assist and closed my ticket without giving me an opportunity to respond or escalate the matter. I was told that I could reply to reopen the ticket, which I did, but I have still received no response. I was completely ghosted. The company sent me a broken product, kept every penny I paid, and left me with nothing but a box full of broken glass. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and, in my view, reflects such a low level of care and service that one would expect from a company of this reputation. One Kings Lane engages in harmful and deceptive consumer practices. Buyer beware. I’ve also started reverse image searching items I find on OKL, and I’m often able to find similar, if not identical, products elsewhere for less. After this experience, I will not be purchasing from OKL again, and I’ll be sharing my experience with friends and family so they do not make the same mistake as I have.

One Kings Lane was suggested to us by a Home Designer friend for a particular sofa for our new house. We need a viable supplier going forward for a newly constructed house and this was a test. They had a great sale going and we wanted swatches before moving forward. I requested swatches on 13 SEPT and was told there is no tracking on swatches due to transport by USPS. I then received an email 10 days later on 23 SEPT saying the PO Box I submitted was not valid and they needed a physical address. I gave them a physical address. The sale will expire soon and I still don’t know if I will receive swatches on time. Even if it was clearly their error and not contacting me sooner was their fault, they claim no responsibility and say I have to watch their web site for future sales. Based on this reaction I can understand why they have so many one star reviews ( which I should have checked ahead of time ).

Scheduling delivery was virtually impossible. If I had been living in the unit it would have been fine. They would just show up without giving me prior notice, and I wouldn't be there. Twice I drove 2.5 hours to receive the furniture only to have them not show up. This was an awful experience. One of the times they called DURING the delivery window to cancel when I had already been driving 2 hours to meet them. Then when they did finally show up, I wasn't there (of course) and they "couldn't get the item in the freight elevator" so I had to reimburse OKL for the shipping fees, restocking fees, and return the item. I don't even think they tried the massive rear stairwell to see if that was a possibility because, guess what, I never even heard from them. What a joke!

I hate to say it but my order arrived with missing items so I had to dispute the charge with my bank! Disappointing experience overall!

The help desk never reached out to assist or see if the issue was resolved. I just got this survey and a note the ticket had been closed

I will never shop from this store ever again. Between the exorbitant shipping fees, ridiculous restocking cost and bad customer service AND even worse return policies, I will never recommend this store. Their prices are high and the customer service is very unreliable and unhelpful. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!’
