I ordered some Items, the order was confirmed but delivery never happened. When I called to ask about the items they said the order was canceled because they didn't not have the items I ordered (ordered 3 rugs ) all rugs could not be delivered. They had sent me an email basically acting as if I returned the items even though I never received them in the first place. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering from there again since this is not my first bad experience with them.....they advertise themselves as a high end furniture shop but they do deliver as such. Just adding that the Rugs I ordered are still in stock in a higher price than I originally ordered and are and in different sizes as well, so basically they didn't want to sell me the items either the reduced price as it was in their website.

I ordered sconces approx. 4 years ago. They never arrived and after many many calls I was informed they had been sold to another customer after my order was placed. No apologies. Just a statement and then silence. Took weeks to be reimbursed. Recently I took another chance on OKL and ordered a rug. I was charged quadruple the advertised price of the rug. I just happened to catch the discrepancy after the invoice was sent. OKL refused to honor their advertised price on the product webpage, and informed me to cancel would result in a $300 restock fee. Even though the rug was still stocked and in their possession. Had to contact OKL weeks later to discover there will be a shipping delay at least 10 days past commitment date. Communication from OKL is poor at best. I like their products and want to like doing business with OKL, however cannot at all recommend this business. It takes a lot of time and effort on the part of the customer to get OKL errors resolved.

I ordered a gift from One Kings Lane on 12/16, it gave me an estimated delivery date of 12/24 so I paid the egregious $15 shipping for a small item. I realized the date may push to 12/26-12/27 with the holiday but my recipient would still be in town so I was OK with it. I followed up with the item on 12/23 and it was still awaiting fulfillment. Customer service was not able to help get this order fulfilled in a timely manner when I reached out the first time. Since then, I have followed up multiple times and was told the estimated ship time was always between 12/27-1/1, which is very different than the estimated delivery it gave me when I ordered, this is a deceptive practice. I asked for shipping to be reimbursed as it is past the 1/1 ship date and it is still awaiting fulfillment and was told that those dates are just an estimate and I would not be reimbursed. The bar just keeps moving for these guys. In the end they offered me a 10% discount and said that was the best they could do, but that only covers half the shipping and I now have to ship this item to my recipient. The customer service here could have really turned this negative experience around, but it was so awful I won’t order from here again. I should have just ordered this item from Saks.

*The reply from One King’s Lane below evades my correct review by simply carrying on as though I am lying and they are still true and fair. Irksome to say the least. This company charges extortion prices for shipping. The shipping is not based on weight whatsoever. Instead it is based on price. They charge $67 for shipping a $600 order of 30 pieces of silverware. This cost does not include insurance which is an extra $12. I am a merchant myself; I know exactly how much shipping rates should be. Not only that, their service representatives are unknowledgeable of their shipping and when I requested to be contacted by a supervisor they took three whole days to return my call! The female supervisor was unhelpful and discourteous.

I was not sent an order confirmation, had to call to get one. Then was not given a delivery date, had to call to get one in writing, then it never delivered between Dec 12th -18th, so I had to call to get a new date. And now, I have still not received any time table on delivery and it is December 28th. I ordered this furniture in November 4th and still don’t have an update on December 28th. But this company will blast my email with ads everyday but can’t fulfill an actual order. Will never do business with them again and will make sure to go out to social media to make sure buyers beware.

I ordered a lamp in August. I made a claim & I just keep getting emails postponing the arrival date over & over.

I brought a coffee table in April 2024 and was immediately charged $1500 despite the fact that delivery was for mid dec,I was ok with that although most likely not too legal ( pre/ paid services). In early December I sent an email on status… and got this aggressive reply that I accepted a December delivery and had no right to inquiry or cancel. I had to wait and accept the delivery end December. Ok fine. Today December 13 a week prior to hosting my family to my house for the holidays I get an email “ we successfully cancelled your order and will refund in 7 days. Are you kidding me? No apology they failed to supply and kept my 1500 for 8 months. Guess I will use cardboard box for table next week for family holidays. I will .NEVER order again from One KingsLane, Buyer BEWARE please!!! I am reporting to consumer protection and BBB .

Most companies today want and appreciate your business, this is not one of them,at least in my opinion.I returned a rug and paid for shipping charges, return charges, and a 15% restocking fee, I didn’t feel was fair. The final charges were $72.88 for an 8x8 rug.Just giving everyone a heads up on the experience I received. Do your homework.
