Reliable and professional shipping company

Arrived on time, well packaged, and undamaged. Assembling the table came with easy to follow directions. We did not find the hardware in our package so I called the manufacturer. I was most pleased to talk to a company representative that was helpful and pleasant. The hardware arrived in a few days. A very positive experience.

We ordered a 36" square dining table, a 67" oval dining table, 10 Pacific chairs, 2 Java chairs and 2 side tables. Sixteen pieces in all. Even before they arrived I received an email from Oceanic Teak advising me the 36" table had a discoloration on the table top and that they would replace it if I wanted. When the furniture arrived - on 2 BIG pallets - we decided to keep the 36" table, but found one chair leg that was gouged and a crack in a bracket under the 67" table. Oceanic Teak instructed us how to easily repair the crack (which was underneath the table and not structural) and offered us a $100 refund on each of the tables and a half price refund on the gouged chair. How does the company stay in business with such low prices and such a generous refund policy!? The furniture is beautiful, heavy and nicely constructed (mortise and tenon with through dowels). Considering how many pieces we bought, the small number of cosmetic imperfections are a testament to the very carefully packing. And the few pieces that needed assembling went together easily. We couldn't be more pleased with the furniture and the customer service of Oceanic Teak.
