Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I purchased an Autel IM608S II expecting a professional-level diagnostic and immobiliser programming tool, but the software and support have been extremely frustrating. I’ve now been told that Ford anti-theft/immobiliser functions are simply not supported, despite this being one of the main reasons I purchased the tool. When I asked the seller for help or an alternative solution, the response was essentially, “Sorry, nothing we can do.” No practical advice, workaround, exchange option, or meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the software appears to have regional issues. I recently couldn’t even find Holden listed and it's one of the main manufacturers in Australia. For a tool at this price point, the software, regional setup and after-sales support should be significantly better. Being sold an expensive professional tool and then being left with “sorry, that’s just how it is” when major advertised functionality isn’t available is simply not acceptable.
