The Coastal Charms of Italy was an amazing experience. With Paolo as local guide we explored and experienced Naples, Ischia and Amalfi. Loved the food, culture and learning about the people and the history! Great trip!!!

I recently traveled on the Egypt and the Eternal Nile tour. It was outstanding. Our guide was extremely attentive and helpful, and knew exactly when to go to the museums to avoid the crowds. One week was spent on the Nefertiti 74 passenger ship going down the Nile. The staff and food on the ship were fabulous as well. We were treated like royalty!

I just returned from a trip to Jordan and Egypt. We had a wonderful time! The hotels were wonderful. There afternoons were very hot so it was so nice to be able to swim at hotel pools. The meals were great although there was too much food. We loved touring the Pyramids, Petra, temples and tombs. The tour guides were exceptional and rounded out our experience by providing exposure to the culture of the various groups we visited. I am looking for out next trip. FYI- we always do our own booking but this means that it there is a problem with a flight, OAT does not have any responsibility.

My wife and I have traveled to many places and have truly enjoyed every one of them. This latest trip to Egypt, however, was exceptional on so many levels: Our trip leader made what we saw come alive with enthusiasm, humor and an incredible knowledge of Egypt’s culture and history. On a different level was the fact that our trip leader, Mohamed Ali, showed exceptional concern for all members of our group, going out of his way to accommodate everyone’s needs. Our trip leader encouraged us to ask questions and to engage in honest discussion on any topic. And from that, our group felt more like family than just a group of travelers. I just completed the Cultural experiences in Japan. Remi was tour guide. She was exceptional. I have traveled extensively around the world using various companies, and I can say without reservation that OAT is far superior. Remi was always available to us. She went over and above in every aspect of our tour. Each time we changed hotels, she came to each room to be sure everything was perfect. She paid special detail to dietary restrictions of various travelers. She also carried extra water for all the travelers. She used Whatsapp to stay in touch with the group. I will definitely travel with OAT again and hope that they can clone Remi for future trips.

We did the Morocco trip and it was amazing! Our guide, Abdel, was wonderful. We always book our own airfare so we don’t have those issues, as stated by others. The riads were beautiful. The hotels were good, not great. I would recommend. We have done two trips with them and plan on doing another.

We just did our first trip with OAT. It was a great experience. They arranged our flight and the itinerary was great and at a better price than we could get. And the trip was very good and very insightful.

I’ve taken 34 Overseas Adventure Travel trips and written a grand total of zero reviews. Not because I didn't love every minute of them, but because I figured if you’re looking to trek through the Amazon or cross the Sahara, you probably already know what you want—and you don't need a play-by-play from a gal who spent 20 minutes trying to remember where she left her sunhat. We gambled on visiting Costa Rica during rainy season and won! By "rainy season," Mother Nature meant a slight drizzle that couldn't even ruin a good hair day, let alone stop us from conquering every activity on the itinerary. We hiked through three national parks, which turned out to be an incredible educational experience—mostly teaching us that our lungs can, in fact, scream in Spanish. It definitely blew the mental cobwebs away (along with our remaining joint health). Fair warning: if the thought of walking 3 miles a day makes you want to file a worker's comp claim, this trip is definitely not for you. The country's beauty and biodiversity are absurdly over-the-top. You will inevitably learn the names of 4,000 different species of birds, bugs, and beasts while aggressively absorbing "wilderness vibes" (which is mostly humidity and the smell of off-brand bug spray). The sloths are perpetually stuck on slow-motion mode, essentially posing like supermodels who took one too many melatonin gummies, while the elusive Resplendent Quetzal plays an expert game of hide-and-seek—mostly so it doesn't have to talk to travelers.
