National UniversityReviews of nu.edu

An accelerated program with the opportunity of a scholarship was something I never thought possible. I am under 40, a mother of two teenage children, and have worked so hard for everything that I have ever recieved. To be awarded an ADT scholarship to pay for half of my tuition and be eligible for financial aid to pay the other half was an absolute dream come true. The Professors at NU are experts in their field, not only as teachers but as published writers, filmmakers, multi-media directors, and more. The online program made it easy for me to keep my full-time job and take care of my family while earning my BA. The accelerated program went so fast allowing me to complete one class (4.5 units) per month, which is the fastest program I have ever heard of. The experience of an online program made me find the confidence and dedication I needed to prepare myself for becoming more independent and move forward in my career.

Awesome one month classes for adult learners! Awesome instructors! Diversity is appreciated!

Worked on my masters while AD Navy, and they made it very flexible, professors were also understanding of the situation. No regrets, and will refer to anyone interested that's working on their Masters.

My National University professors understood the topics and provided great examples of leaders in education and educational counseling. My professors were engaging, dedicated to my education, and reliable. From check-ins during my on-site internship to flexibility in the classroom, I felt supported by each one. I am happy to say I am utilizing my Master's degree as an educational counselor in the college system.

All of the professors were very professional and knowledgeable.

All of my experiences with NU were positive. I restarted my education later in life and being among first rate professors and motivated fellow classmates helped me stay relevant and functional in an ever changing world. I enjoyed the concept of one class per month and flexibility that provides with scheduling. I was able to finish a degree in Political Science and start on my Masters in Public Administration. I had to take a break because of work but hope to get back into it and finish up. Best points: 1. Great Professors that helped me get back into the learning mode. 2. NU Library is first rate. 3. Getting E Textbooks started. 4. Used my GI Bill and NU helped with getting me through that process. 5. Nu is definitely a good choice for veterans. Areas to improve 1. Update Class Syllabus - Some referenced classes from the previous year and listed wrong textbooks. 2. I had hoped for more classes in Public Administration that focused on federal level functions.

NU's alternative schedule worked best. I wouldn't have been able to complete my degree within a reasonable time without the alternative schedule and kind and caring professors and administration at National University. I was Active duty for part of my time, and then transitioned to the reserves, but National University was great no matter my situation. I was able to go to school full time while raising 3 small children, and absolutely would recommend this school to anyone who had a location near them or even online!

Class pacing and time slots (my program was online) was manageable and worked with my work schedule. I didn't have to choose between going to school or working full time. Processors we're knowledgeable and provided timely and useful feedback and made themselves available if help was needed.
