From sales to install everything went great, if too fast is possible they were really too fast. Install was professional and went over every detail of the system.

Northstar has been responsive to small problems that occurred due to storms. The tech people are polite, patient and professional.

Had two window contact that we had to bypass until you replaced them. System is slow when arming with our phone, but a part has been orderec that will hopefully speed things up.

We are happy with our alarm most of the time. Being able to arm and disarm from our phones is awesome. Using the keypad to disarm can be frustrating. If you don't tap it just so, you get double numbers or none .

When I first had problems with the system about 10 days after installation I couldn't reach anyone. The salesman,the technician or your customer service would not answer. The panel worked fine but the phone apps worked sporadically. Today is the 6th of July, sky bell hasn't registered or let me view since June 28th I didn't expect all the technical difficulties. At first I thought "this is great" 2 weeks later I just want the panel and a fob. You can keep all the bells and whistles, and the frustration.

The system is a good one, and does the job it is supposed to do. However the price is a little shocking, due to the sales people being told to sell you the system yet be reluctant on the costs. The sales person was nice enough, but you could tell is training told him to push really hard with a lot of time pressure, causing the customer to be forced into a hasty decision. It's rather insidious, and had I had some time to research the system better, I wouldn't feel as duped, locked into a system I'm not entirely sure I can afford.
