Home sweet (and SAFE!) home
It was so easy to get the NorthStar system, it was almost like magic. I appreciate the added feeling of security of having the system in the home. The customer service is awesome.

Home Security Review
Northstar was a quick and easy install. Friendly customer service. Since the install hasn't failed us yet. Like the look of the hardware, it blends in very well. The monthly rate is very low compared to most. Five year contract but worth it and saves you money with most insurance companies. I would recommend this home security company to anyone.

Very Good
The sales person was not pushy and true to his word. The installers were quick, possibly a little too quick for us to understand all of the ways our new system connected with the door lock and the thermostat. We had a $300 call to an A/C person out over the next weekend because our unit did not turn on with the new thermostat. After that, we needed to tweak our settings and with one call, we had the system exactly the way we wanted it. All that said, we like and trust the new system and monitoring more what we had before and recommend NorthStar highly.

The equipment is good but I have trouble with the garage door and Home Away setting. Because I have been traveling a lot lately I have not had the issues resolved. Plan to in the future.

One special employee as to be recognized.
When presented with the contract to sign to be with NorthStar, I was already under contract with another company. After a couple of days, we encountered a few problems. My husband called and spoke with Hayden Faas. Most of the problems were fixed. One major problem still needed to be addressed. I have been in touch with Mr. Faas with several emails. Each time I contacted him, he made sure the issues were taken care promptly and usually the same day. I am very anxious to continue with NorthStar as my home security provider.
