I was watching advertisements for the Loki knife from Northern Knife co for several weeks. When I was notified of a great Labor Day sale buy one get one, I jumped on it. I ordered and received 4 knives and also sheaths in about a week. I consider this very quick shipping time from a private company. The knives are beautiful, they appear to be very sharp and well made. The sheaths are leather as described. My plan is to give these as Christmas gifts to our sons who all are grilling/bbq enthusiasts. My husband agreed that these knives are very good quality and well worth the money spent.

I have tried to post this review now several times and Trustpilot keeps removing it!! Please do not remove this review. This company deserves their praise! Now back to the review; First off, the look of this knife is rivaled only by the legendary blades forged by Odin’s personal blacksmith—probably the same guy who makes Thor’s breakfast tongs. You can see the work, sweat, and possibly a few sacrificial goat tears that went into crafting this thing. It’s a blade worthy of slicing the meat of kings, or at least impressing that one uncle who only grills once a year but talks about it constantly. Now, if not for the customer service, this review would be a solid 4 stars. When I received my Loki, I was slightly displeased with the sharpness. Not “unworthy,” but more “needs a quick chat with the sharpening stone.” I reached out to the warrior-forgers at Northern Knife, fully expecting a raven-delivered shrug. Instead, they immediately offered to send me a replacement to prove that Loki’s dull edge was a one-off and not some trickster-level prank. Gotta respect a company that stands so firmly behind their product you’d think they were preparing for Ragnarök. If you’re considering this knife, or any of the other phenomenally forged godly gadgetry, heed my words: add it to your kitchen arsenal. Whether you’re a humble home cook or a full-time culinary berserker, this blade is ready to conquer meats, veggies, and the occasional enemy onion. A gem of a knife! This is the second Loki with the leather sheath that I have purchased from this awesome company. Both have been gifts with wonderful praise. So unique and made with precision. Great communication and fast delivery.

Northernknife is a great company. They expeditiously sent the Loki knife and leather sheath just in time for my son-in-laws birthday. He LOVES the knife and sheath! The Viking vibe made him giggle with happiness and he cannot wait to use it for a Thanksgiving feast he’s preparing. Our daughter texted, “I used the Loki knife to cut a lemon. WHOA!”.

The knives we have purchased from Northernknife are amazing. 1: beautifully crafted 2: well balanced 3: very sharp 4: priced very reasonable I could go on and on, but I don’t think you want to read a novel 😁. Truthfully you won’t be sorry if you purchase any of the knives. I haven’t even had to call their customer service department. We have also purchased the magnetic board, and love that also. Great quality. We will be purchasing more knives soon.

I married that guy who is never excited about anything so when I got an "oh shit they're nice!" Along with a smile, I knew I chose well. It made gifting so fun. While all the men in the room ogled the knives the wives all agreed "that's a good box!" 🤣 My only interaction with customer service was sending them a thank you for the beautiful knives and the mind blowing, fast & real, 2 day shipping. I immediately received a thank you back from them. Everything arrived perfect and just as promised. I will be shopping again soon. How many knives does one man need?? I don't know but I about to find out. Thank you again!

I was at first skeptical of a company found on Facebook so at first I ordered just one knife. When it came and I first used the blade I was very impressed. The quality and sharpness of the blade was a great value, especially for the price. Since then I have ordered several and even gifted a few to others. I love these knives!

Customer service provided and goods bought have been absolutely excellent. We’ve now used Loki, Bjorn and Gunnar knives for about a year and the quality has been great, they cut meat like butter. We’ve even scrapped our bread knife and are using Loki now as it cuts a soft loaf without squashing it. Perfect. Have now bought the magnetic knife board as a gift for my partner to store these beautiful knives and it looks amazing. Good weight to it and it will look like a showpiece in our kitchen. Shame it has been mishandled in transit and got damaged but customer service at NorthernKnife have been excellent and have sorted the issue in no time. I do agree the waiting time on orders has been on the longer side, I’m in uk and it was roughly 2-3 weeks on each order but every time it was absolutely worth the wait and I received plenty of emails with despatch and tracking info in the mean time. If looking for a great gift, these are so worth a try.
