Still waiting (over 2 months) to receive my reimbursement check. Normandy processed two auto drafts from our checking account after our agent submitted a cancellation request. They take the funds out very quickly, but the reimbursement apparently takes months.

We took a look into this and it appears we processed the cancellation and return of premium as soon as we had the signed paperwork. We have to have that so we protect our clients from an unauthorized person acting on the account in any manner (and, it's the law too). Sorry for any frustration this caused, but hopefully, it's all in order now.

Underwriter originally declined our application, without even research or asking us questions first. I guess they believe if they don’t have all the info on the app they need, they automatically declined it. It took almost me canceling my contract with them for my underwriter to take me serious. It took almost a week to write a simple policy - commissions only pay out monthly, and I’ve heard from major carriers Normandy isn’t a good company. My main concern is the lack of response time. Even my rep, Shanelle, took a week to get back to me on simple questions, then just to hand me a number to call. I won’t be writing anymore business with them. I would not waste your time as an agent, unless you want to see an unprofessional team working on your stuff.

We're sorry that your experience with us was disappointing. Our lead underwriter took some extra time to review all the mandatory elements of the acord application with one of your team members. Unfortunately, without that information, we can't process a quote. We try to be fast, and generally are, but every now and then, we can't turn things around as quickly as we'd like. Though we strive to get only good reviews, we appreciate you sharing your comments nonetheless.
