I placed an order for a personalized necklace and realized I selected the wrong item. I reached out to the team. In less than an hour, someone responded to me! Despite the fact that this was completely an error on my part, they were so prompt, gracious and helpful with getting my order corrected. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced a company with such a quick response time AND fantastic customer service. Besides the brand representing such a good cause, it also showed me that good people are behind the brand as well. Misleading Information, Contradictory Claims and Terrible Customer Service
I ordered two personalised necklaces from Noor Qalb, one for myself and one for my daughter. What should have been a straightforward purchase has turned into an incredibly frustrating experience.
Firstly, I specifically asked whether the necklaces were coming from China because of the lengthy delivery times. I was categorically assured by Marissa, who claimed to help run the company, that the necklaces were made in their London studio and NOT in China.
However, when I checked the tracking information, it showed international shipping movements, customs clearance and an international flight departing. When I questioned this, I received vague explanations rather than a straightforward answer about where my order was actually coming from.
The dispatch information was equally contradictory. I was initially told my necklaces had shipped that morning and would arrive soon. Then I was told they had shipped on Saturday 10 October, despite the tracking initially showing only that shipping information had been received.
To make matters worse, the website did not clearly specify that the necklaces were gold plated stainless steel rather than solid gold. I only discovered this after explicitly asking.
What frustrates me most is the complete lack of accountability. Every time I questioned an inconsistency, I received another apology, another explanation or was redirected to customer support.
I shouldn't have to investigate a company's claims to establish whether I'm being given accurate information.
I've now requested a full refund because I've completely lost confidence in this business.
My issue isn't simply the delivery delay. It's the lack of honesty, transparency and accountability.
If you're considering purchasing from Noor Qalb, I strongly recommend asking exactly where your jewellery is manufactured, what materials you're actually paying for and where your order will be dispatched from.
Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend this company. Extremely disappointing.
