Just renewed my subscription and they charged me 4 times for one subscription. At first they tired to tell me I ordered twice and for 2 years which was not the case. I pointed out to her that if that were the case the amount was not correct for a 2 year subscription which she agreed to and then went on to tell me there was a computer glitch. I’m assuming that’s their standard response when they don’t know what is going on.

I came here as I was intending to resubscribe to NatGeo magazine after my previous membership of many years ended in 2018. What has happened to this organisation?! I never had problems like this several years ago but reading this has completely reversed my decision to resubscribe. Can a member of NatGeo staff let me know why more than a year after reviews start mentioning these issues, they haven’t yet been resolved? Very disappointing from what was previously one of my most trusted brands.

I went on line and ordered a12 month subscription to NGO magazine. I was charged twice $19.00. I reached out but was only credited back a portion of the $19.00. Was on the phone with a Customer Service rep in the Philippines. We were in two different wave legenths. I asked for someone in the States and after a legenthy wait I got a very rude Supervisor who talked to me like she was on speed, very abrupt, talking over me, not letting me get a word in, talked to me about banking, that had been my profession for 35 years. They said I did not have a new subscription. OK need to find another magazine to read.

So disappointed with my digital subscription to National Geographic. Don’t waste your money.

That was my favorite TV channel since many and many years. Feel so disappointed because there is not anymore science and culture, traveling and discovering new country's and world's.

Well where do we start... lying about covid19 saying it's one thing and then only to prove yourself wrong in the next sentence... how can you guys state stuff that you dont have the exact numbers behind?!.. ridiculous!.. nat geo use to be one of my favourite articles only to then realise you lie... so now I wonder how far back I have been lied to...

National Geographic has lost its vision and its execution. Where once there was balance, factual analysis, and real education, we now have a web site masking as a magazine. Journalism is poor, articles start with political assertions and we're left with teen age jibberish. Pictures of tourists sitting on top of submarine coral and sea bottom plants have now replaced scientific pictures of spectacular terrain and unique cultures. As far as history is concerned, the editorial staff is more interested in revising the past in the aspirational lingo than documenting and learning from our stewardship or lack thereof of our people and land. While the content is sophomoric, the business model is social media for the masses. Since they have no magazine articles of substance, they throw up vignettes on the portal that are shallow and insipid. Perhaps Disney's ownership is the problem. We're given cartoons instead of geography, anthropology, or foreign culture. I treasured National Geographic for years and kept decades of issues for research and enjoyment for my family. Now it is embarrassing to be associated with the magazine.
