The website is the worst. It stopped letting me login even though I had 3 months left on my subscription. When I contacted customer service, I got a form email telling me to send screenshots, which I did, but never heard back from them. Will try by phone to make sure they don't try to charge me for another year. They have ruined a formerly good site.

Would give zero if I could. Every time I tried to subscribe for one price, when I got to the payment page, the price had rocketed up. Why National Geographic? What is your explanation for this? I am angry. Definitely not dealing with you.

The website and apps are horrendous! Painfully slow loading time, pages not working, links broken, constantly logging me out. I've cancelled my subscription mainly because of how frustrating the app is.

Digital subscription on the Ipad just stopped working like that, no warning this December onwards. Paid for an online subscription and the service is an absolute joke. They have an arcane process for the user to 'link' the digital subscription to their online account (never heard of that). It should have been a seamless process. It is absolutely impossible to read the magazine online. Page will simply not load up and the experience is terrible because it only works online. To this date I have not received the print version which was supposed to come with the subscription. They killed off a product which was great (the Ipad version) and replaced by this rubish

Paid for a subscription a couple of weeks ago. I have a confirmation email of my subscription and yet when I went to sign on and show my son (age 5) who is totally into animals, it said my email address is not on the database. I have sent them 3 EMAILS now! I have not had a single response other than that the ticket has been received. It is an absolute joke! DO NO USE THIS SERVICE! It is fine if all goes well but if you have a problem good luck.

I have been trying to get a response from National Geographic for weeks regarding a very expensive tour they are offering. I needed details about the tour that were not on the website. They have not offered any response whatsoever. It is clear they have no interest in being consumer oriented. Given the state of the travel industry, one would think they would want to make paying customers happy. Oh well. The good thing about the shakedown in the travel industry is that companies that don't care about customers will not survive. Good riddance!

I signed up a week ago, but have had continuous errors linking my sub to my online account. I sent two emails and today (a week later) I phone them to discover neither of the emails had even been opened! I had to speak to two people, first one couldn't speak English beyond the script she was given - kept trying to instruct me on how to reset my password. She asked about 10 times if I have an online account, if I changed my password, etc. I phoned again and the man could speak English and actually understand me. I have no issue with foreign call centres but please teach them appropriate English to understand people from England. This is not right with a paid service that it's been a week and I cannot login to a paid service.

I have been reading National geographic since I was a kid Since 2014 I have purchased it through Apple iTunes and so been able to access all my issues and receive monthly editions on my iPad and iPhone since that date On 14 December 2020 Nat Geo decided to withdraw that all immediately. All of my back editions disappeared and I could no longer read my current or back editions. Without any warning or apology. I contacted Nat Geo who confirmed that they have done this. They refused to give me any of the back editions I legally purchased through my direct account with them that still exists from 2014. They also refused to reimburse my annual subscription that still runs to 7 May 2021 on the basis that it was paid via Apple itunes Apple ITunes have also refused to refund the full subscription. They say it is Nat Geos fault for cancelling the app. So I am trapped between the contract between these two companies Main lessons for me are: 1. Never trust digital content. You think it will always be there but as soon as it becomes too expensive to maintain the publisher will withdraw access when they want and without any compensation 2. I will no longer use Apple iTunes. 3. I shall Find a more customer friendly organisation than National geographic to buy magazines from.
