We went on a nat geo trip to Mongolia and it was excellent. The staff, the Mongolian, staff, and guides were perfect. We were on a horse trek. We were off the grid. No electricity and no internet. Food was great and the accommodations were comfortable. Not for those who are not comfortable with camping or being around horses or even using out houses. We did have showers. This is the trip to learn about another culture.

Read so many bad reviews, but from a personal experience all I can say is they are excellent. Subscribed a few years back (re done so every year since), never had any problems with receiving issues. Informative and educational, though I have noticed an occasional political slant - not too often - which doesn't need to be there. All-in-all, really, really, pleased.

Difficulties with getting our magazines at our foreign address led to our becoming acquainted with Jodie. She has done a smashing job of seeing that things were set right. Cannot say enough about the wonderful, caring, attentive service we've been given as the details were ironed out. Good work National Geographic!!!
