I ordered an annual subscription in 2021 for my grandchildren in France and they liked it. I was then sent an email in September 2022 asking if I wanted to renew it, which I did and I paid for it. The order wasn't processed correctly and after many useless emails back and forth, I have been given a refund for half the amount I paid and they think that's okay. Go figure

Quite frankly, dire. Their website is awful and didn't allow me to put in a different name/address for billing and recipient of the magazine. This has been an issue for 2 years but never had a problem ringing up to renew (I ring up because every time I have tried to pay online, there has been an issue). Tried to ring up to renew this time and was told I couldn't because the account wasn't in my name. It was in my mum's name as she was the recipient. I had set up the account, had access and knew all details of the account. Initial advisor said I couldn't renew using the account I had used for the last 2 years and would have to set me up a new one. She then tried to over charge me. I left that conversation and tried to email. Again, advisor via email was no help and said she couldn't discuss anything due to GDPR, despite this being irrelevant as I was not wanting to obtain any information as the the account was my account and had my bank details. The only issue was my mum's name was on the account due to their dodgy website. Gave up on that. Rang another advisor who sorted it and didn't see the issue that the other advisors had because I was obviously just trying to pay for the magazine, as I had done the past two years. It really shouldn't have been that difficult and a whole week process to renew a magazine. If you haven't already, save some time and don't get involved with this company. Magazine is great but it has been a hassle every year I've wanted to purchase!

Can not change my address on their web site. Will have to waste even more time trying to get through on the phone. Don’t subscribe…… buy it at a shop.

The website won't let me log in to manage my subscription. I've tried resetting my password but it doesn't help. This isn't the first time this has happened - in the past I've had to waste my time calling up their customer services to make changes to my account. Their website is still in the Stone Ages - every other magazine/journal/paper I subscribe to allows you to manage your subscription online. Also, when you try to log in it takes you to a separate website - I don't understand why they are trying to make it so complicated. I really like the writers/content but will unfortunately be cancelling my subscription for this reason.

NGHIstory is a great magazine but sadly their subscription service is disgraceful! On several occasions I got a year subscription but magazines went missing. As a last chance I took out a subscription for a year in 2022 and heard nothing back till I asked them what went wrong and they said - I took out a subscription for Canada readers! Something really wrong with these people - I am thinking of taking legal action

So sick of trying to watch any show on Nat Geo Channel. Commercials come on every 5 minutes and last for 3 minutes at a time....it's insane. The same commercials over and over again and in a 1 hour show almost half the time is commercials. Disney, you destroyed a good thing, shame on you!

International subscription service screwed up twice.

Is it a common thing for National Geographic around the world. I live in Jndia and had subscribed for the magazine on 8th October. I had also received a communication that December issue will be my first. However, toll today I have not received the magazine. I had written a mail as well in their customer support but have got no response.
