NO, NO, NANO !!
My research and personal experience tells me the following: Folks need to know that these are amplifiers, not hearing aids. They may be DIGITAL, and nano calls them "hearing aids", but the don't boost your hearing loss frequencies to flatten your hearing curve like true hearing aids do. Nano says something about the FDA, but they are not approved by the FDA...simply registered there. Then folks need to know that everything will cost more than expected. After you discover that a similar set can be found at Walmart for less than $100, and they don't help either...returning for a refund is not easy, or cheap. Furthermore, you will wait for over a month for your refund (if you get one). My advice: stay far away from this Company!

Less than $100 amplifiers from Walmart or Costco do not compare to the amazing sound quality you will experience when you try NANO. Units were well priced…processed promptly…initial experience was very good. I think it will improve with experience as I learn how to use the units effectively. Thus far I have not needed to contact support but I anticipate a pleasant experience should that be necessary.

I recently had to return a hearing aid…
I recently had to return a hearing aid as it had stopped working and would not charge. The young lady in customer service could not have been more pleasant and helpful. She set up the return and helped me with an upgrade to a different device. Thanks

BAD FIRST EXPERIENCE

Hello, Squealing or feedback can occur for many different reasons. We have provided some of the more common reasons below to help you troubleshoot your issue: 1. Check for ear wax: earwax build-up is a common cause of acoustical feedback. When a sound wave hits a solid block of earwax, that sound wave shatters, sending sound every which-away including back out the ear to get re-amplified by the hearing aid microphone. 2. Check the fit: A loose fitting hearing aid allows amplified sound waves to escape the ear canal around the hearing aid, reach the mic and off we go again in a feedback loop. 3. Speaker Placement: If the direction of the receiver is off and pointing directly into the wall of the ear canal, it can cause the amplified sound to bounce back into the hearing aid and the whistling begins. 4. Hearing Aid damage: The sound tube may become damaged over time by aggressive cleaning, the mic may have gotten pushed in, or there could be a crack in the hearing aid casing. It's very important to change the domes on your device due to the fact that most of the sound quality comes from the dome. In attempting to return my hearing aids.
In attempting to return my hearing aids for a full refund, I was under the impression that the return shipping would be provided by Nano. In discussions with Nano representatives on the phone, Never once did any of them state that I would be responsible for the shipping costs. I continued to request RMA's to ship them back. Again, I thought an RMA was something presented to a shipper to ship back at their cost. Twice I was in error, but no Nano personnel would simply tell me the cost to return was on me. After all the frustration, I went online and read in Nano.com that the return cost is on me.Thanks Nano, you could have made it easier on me to just tell me that up front. Sorry the aids were not for me as I explained in a previous review.
