I had a helpful experience when I…
I had a helpful experience when I called. My one problem now is that my left ear is painful when The hearing aid is in it. That ear does bother me even without the aid now. Also trying to adjust to the right side. As I have stated before I’m 85 and don’t know what cookie’s are except to bake & eat. Thanks for your concern. Will be in touch.

Can't get rid of the screeching

Hello Brian, Squealing or feedback can occur for many different reasons. We have provided some of the more common reasons below to help you troubleshoot your issue: 1. Check for ear wax: earwax build-up is a common cause of acoustical feedback. When a sound wave hits a solid block of earwax, that sound wave shatters, sending sound every which-away including back out the ear to get re-amplified by the hearing aid microphone. 2. Check the fit: A loose-fitting hearing aid allows amplified sound waves to escape the ear canal around the hearing aid, reach the mic and off we go again in a feedback loop. 3. Speaker Placement: If the direction of the receiver is off and pointing directly into the wall of the ear canal, it can cause the amplified sound to bounce back into the hearing aid and the whistling begins. 4. Hearing Aid damage: The sound tube may become damaged over time by aggressive cleaning, the mic may have gotten pushed in, or there could be a crack in the hearing aid casing. Awful!!!
Awful!!!! I ordered the hearing aids...You had the wrong address on the shipment.....the aids were sent back to YOU and you sent me and email that stated that the hearing aids were DELIVERED TO ME!!! How bad is that. The worst part...I called when I could see by the tracking that they were sent back to you...the rep said she was shipping another pair.....that we would get them within a couple of days....and that she would CALL ME to make sure I got them.....guess what...NO AIDS SHIPPED....NO PHONE CALL....I'M THINKING THAT THIS IS A SCAM.

If you don’t want a high pressure sales…
If you don’t want a high pressure sales experience…then run! We still haven’t received our refund. They tell you, that you can try out the Nano hearing aids and return them if they don’t work. It took several phone calls and finally a threat to report to the better business bureau before they would give me their REQUIRED RMA number for returns. Hearing loss was just to severe for these to work. We wanted to try a less expensive option…but it was a very difficult experience.

Wax Guard Tips.
I actually love my NANO cic hearing aids, but when I asked for an accessory kit with only the small Wax Guard Tips they sent me a kit with several domes and other things that I really don't need. I only got 2 Wax Guard Tips and that is not enough to keep me hearing properly.

“My 3rd experience with hearing aids”
“My 3rd experience with hearing aids” I bought a pair from COSTCO for $2000 dollars. They worked well, but I didn’t like continuously buying batteries. The next pair were horrible. I’m not sure where my daughter got them. They kept squealing, driving people around me nuts. I’ve had Nano hearing aids for three days, and I can hear much better than with the two previous one. I also like the fact that the batteries are rechargeable. Hopefully, I will continue to be very satisfied.
