Charged for item that never shipped
Charged my card (not just hold) with nothing shipped. I had to email and threaten credit card chargeback if they didn’t credit me since items were now out of stock. They finally did refund funds. A company should not process charge until an item ships. In response to your reply: I do understand that there are backorders from vendors, but DO NOT charge a persons card for goods that are not shipped. People buy online in good faith and should only be charged when an item ships, not at the time of order unless it is a special order and funds are needed to secure the item from a vendor. This is a poor business practice on your part.

Michael, due to the large volume of orders coming through many manufacturers of products we sell are extremely backed up. Should you order a product which is backordered all you need to do is contact our customer service team which you can do via phone, email, or chat by accessing the chat button at the bottom of the site and we can refer you to a similar product which is in stock, or are happy to issue a refund. There is no need to threaten a chargeback, we're more than happy to refund any customer who doesn't want to wait for manufacturers to catchup.
