I found out that almost everything I fed my dog was irritating his skin. I'm definitely going to change his diet and hope his condition gets better.
Response from My Pet SensitivityJul 3, 2024
Hi,
It's tough to discover that your dog's diet may have been contributing to skin irritation, but it's a positive step to identify potential triggers. Changing their diet based on the test results could indeed lead to improvements in their skin condition over time. If you need any advice on alternative diets or further guidance, consulting with a veterinarian could be beneficial. They can provide tailored recommendations to ensure your dog's diet supports their health and well-being.

Good to have
Our schnoodle started having some digestive issues and having this test it gave us the information we needed to start a different diet.
Response from My Pet SensitivityJul 3, 2024
Hi,
It's great to hear that the test provided valuable information for adjusting your schnoodle's diet and addressing digestive issues. Identifying specific food sensitivities can be crucial in improving gastrointestinal health and overall well-being for pets.
Transitioning to a diet tailored to avoid problematic ingredients can help alleviate symptoms and promote better digestive function over time. Monitoring your schnoodle's response to the new diet and consulting with your veterinarian for further guidance can ensure that you're on the right track.
If you have any more questions or need additional support with managing your pet's dietary needs, feel free to ask!

In the middle with what we think.
I did this test for my frenchie who was dealing with atopic dermatitis so we were looking for allergens to avoid. The test was done by us sending out our pets hair and her printed papers (you don't get a sample kit keep in mind) and we have been avoiding the allergens since and also using her hypoallergenic food which has helped. Our (not-private, so why lie?
) vets unfortunately have said this test is very inaccurate and won't revel our pets true allergies, when we look at it chicken which we know she is allergic too, wasn't on our results. We are in the middle with what we think as it has worked but we are also using a hypoallergenic food already for her. Take the results with a grain of salt, can definetly be a starting point with your pets allergies though!

Hi,
It sounds like you've had a mixed experience with the sensitivity test for your French Bulldog. While it's great to hear that avoiding identified sensitivities and using hypoallergenic food has helped manage her atopic dermatitis to some extent, it's also important to consider the feedback from your vets regarding the accuracy of the test.
Sensitivity testing, especially non-invasive methods like hair testing, can sometimes yield varied results and may not always align with clinical observations or traditional testing methods used by veterinarians. Each testing method has its limitations and it's essential to weigh the results alongside other diagnostic tools and professional advice.
Using the results as a starting point for identifying potential issues and adjusting your pet's diet accordingly seems like a reasonable approach. It's also valuable to continue working closely with your vet to monitor your Frenchie's condition and make adjustments as needed based on her response to the hypoallergenic diet.
If you have ongoing concerns or if her symptoms persist or worsen, it may be beneficial to revisit the discussion with your vet and explore other diagnostic options or treatment strategies. Each pet is unique, and finding the right balance of management techniques can often require a combination of approaches.

Still not able to print it off
Still not able to print it off, tried various printers, but it repeatedly prints off last few pages. all about how to contact etc, email print is too small to read without printing
Response from My Pet SensitivityJul 3, 2024
Hi,
It sounds frustrating dealing with the printing issue. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. **Check Printer Settings**: Ensure that your printer settings are correct. Sometimes, printers might have options like "Print All Pages" or "Print Selection." Make sure you're selecting to print all pages.
2. **Clear Print Queue**: There might be a print queue issue causing the printer to repeat pages. Go to your computer's printer settings, find your print job, and cancel it. Then, try printing again.
3. **Restart Devices**: Restart both your computer and printer. This can often resolve connectivity or software issues causing printing problems.
4. **Print from Another Device**: If possible, try printing from another device (e.g., a different computer, tablet, or smartphone) to see if the issue persists.
5. **Check Browser or App**: If you're printing from a web page or application, ensure that the page is fully loaded and that there are no browser extensions or plugins causing interference.
6. **Update Drivers**: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause printing problems.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you might want to consider contacting technical support for your printer or seeking assistance from someone who is familiar with troubleshooting printing problems.

Very quick and easy to do the test with easy to follow instructions. I was worried as I didn't have a printer for the label but it was all ok just wrote details on the sample. Very quick turnaround and surprising results !

Took way to long for results.
I was not notified that you received either of my samples. I sent 2 in because you said you didn't receive it. You also said that you did get the 2nd sample either. Today, 6 months later, I received my results. It took way too long. I went to a vet and got testing so I already had results.
