Hi Chloe, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern with our team. I am more than happy to help with this! I totally understand your concern here, but rest assured, those tiny black flecks on our Pads w/ wings! One of the most exciting upgrades to our pads is the new, moisture-wicking topsheet. We now use a proprietary blend of 100% organic cotton, which combines two types of cotton fibers. The new fibers are cleaned using an innovative, air-based technique. This allows us to preserve the natural oil barrier of the cotton, which is nature’s way of wicking away moisture — and our way of keeping you comfortable and dry. Those tiny black flecks are the cotton fiber particles, which may remain visible after this new cleaning process. We like to think of it as the natural beauty of our cotton shining through.
