I don't often write reviews, but all of the bad reviews because people can't figure out a plastic applicator is ridiculous. I like both the tampons and panty liners. At 1st I had the same issues with the tampon coming out when I tried to pull the plastic applicator out. With a little bit of critical thinking, it wasn't hard to figure out... After you insert the tampon, pull the movable plastic part out as far as you can, without pulling it completly out. Then push it all the way in until it clicks. This pushes the tampon in so you can remove the plastic part without any problem. It works everytime and I haven't wasted any tampons. The tampons have absorbed well for me and are comfortable to wear. I am happy with the products and will continue my subscription.

I’ve been using Lola tampons and pads for over a year now and am a big fan. They are 100% cotton and every experience I’ve had using each product has been great. Before posting this, I read through some of the other comments and discovered several explaining that the tampons don’t come out of the applicator and therefore is wasted. This too has happened to me but I figured out I was not enjecting the tampoon completely. When you do it all the way, it almost makes a sort of click noise as it slides all the way in place. If you don’t push it all the way, the tampon is still stuck in the applicator when you pull it out and is of no use. I just received my first box of condoms and lube and can’t wait to try them out. I’m happy to be supporting a female founded product that is also organic and natural.

I try to be an environmentally conscious feminist. I don’t usually order products I see in online ads, but Lola tampons looked right up my ally! When I went to place my order the only 2 options I had were to receive a box of tampons every month or every 2 months. There was no one time purchase option! I thought that if I put in a purchase they couldn’t just take money out of my account & send me another box without my permission. I thought that when they asked me if I wanted another box I could just cancel my account. Boy was I wrong. The tampons come. I’m excited, maybe I will keep my subscription, tampons delivered to my door every month, living the dream! I try the tampons & the plastic applicator doesn’t work. The tip of the tampon sticks out the top but is still lodged in the plastic applicator & not comfortably stopping up my vagina, which is the whole point. So I have to pull the cotton out of the applicator & use my fingers to shove the dry tampon up my vagina. We’ve all been there, but it’s not fun. What’s the point of littering our oceans with plastic beach whistles if the stupid applicator doesn’t work to smoothly transition the dry cotton into my vagina? Oh well, I never have to order from Lola again, I think I’ve washed my hands of them. But lo! Two months later, another box of unexpected Lola tampons. I panicked, I check my account. They charged me for the second box without my consent. I try to find a phone number to call to get reimbursed for this extortion. No phone numbers anywhere! I send a scathing email. I get a phone number back, but no reimbursement. I call the phone number, no answer. I canceled the subscription myself, but would like to warn women not to order from them in the first place. They are thieves. They don’t care about women’s health. They don’t care about the environment. This is not women helping women. This is women getting charged exorbitant amounts for crappy tampons.

I like their product, but after creating a subscription I can no longer access my account, I have emailed them three times with no response and no luck. Now I have an excess of tampons and I keep having to pay for them every other month. Horrible customer service.

I should’ve read the comments before subscribing. I subscribed to lola because it was a better alternative to avoid cramps, with store bought tampons I get a lot of cramps. Lola said it would help reduce, which I it did, if that’s would you’re looking for go ahead and subscribe. The applicator is crap. It’s so cheap and it doesn’t work for anything. You have to push way to hard and even hurt yourself sometimes to just get it in. Then when you think it’s “in” the take the applicator back out and the tampon gets stuck to it and moves down which then makes it uncomfortable to sit or even walk. I don’t recommend at all, there aren’t enough in a box, especially for women like me who have a long period cycle. Don’t recommend at all.

I thought I’d give Lola a try. The pads are horrible. They don’t even stick to your underwear and they bunch up. Save your money and buy your pads and tampons at the store. This company is a rip off.

I had a Lola subscription for 2 years and finally had enough. I can’t even tell you how many tampons I wasted ($10 for 18!) when trying to insert. Legit, I would push them up and the applicator would get so lodged that the cotton would not come out. I bet I wasted 30-40 tampons in 2 years bc of this. Ridiculous. They sent free boxes but never fixed the problem so I’m done. I live in Colorado and regularly spend my time high up in the mountains- aka: I don’t have time for non-functioning tampons. Luckily, every time it happened, I did have a backup, but let’s be real ladies, that’s not always the case. How exciting to have a tampon fail me and not come out. Switched to Cora which Target sells and have had great success.

I LOVE Lola! Lola is an incredible company, and its products I would recommend to all women. I feel safer and healthier knowing exactly what I am putting in my body with these products. And setting up orders, changing subscriptions, skipping orders, it is all so easy. Everything arrives in a timely fashion, perfectly packaged right at my door step. I know exactly what to expect and I love the results!
