I wanted to love them but unfortunately I’m extremely disappointed. I used my first tampon yesterday upon removing it, it started to tear...leaving particles behind. It’s very concerning and a hazard for infection. Canceling my subscription today. LOLA Team this is an amazing convenient concept but please make your tampons more durable and comparable to Seventh Generation. Thank you

Really liked the concept of these tampons but when faced with the reality of them I was utterly disappointed. They were not very absorbent and this was a big issue for me as when I’m using a tampon or pad it is essential that I feel secure and comfortable knowing that I will not leak.

I use LOLA because it's what we have available at the office. If you open the packaging just slightly off, the applicator comes apart and is pretty much useless from there. Also the cardboard applicator is stupid hard to use. I had to use two hands to push it, and if you have a heavier period and things are a little more slippery down there, forget about it. Good idea, but these applicators are the worst and are a huge waste.

I was so excited to try this product and really wanted to love them but they don’t absorb at all. I’ve l experienced heavy leaking that I haven’t experienced with other brands. As a busy nurse who often times doesn’t have the time to frequently run to the bathroom and change her tampon during her shift it’s an unsettling and embarrassing experience when I’ve found I’ve leaked when that’s not something I’ve had an issue with in the past with the other brands. I unfortunately will be canceling my subscription due to needing a product that is more reliable for absorption.

The tampons are not absorbent and leak after only an hour (and I was just sitting around at home when I tried them). I really loved the idea of Lola (the customizable box and subscription service!) but the product does not work as advertised :(

The idea is okay but overall a scam for your money. It was a nice idea to have products sent to your door every month, every 2 months, etc. Also nice feature to customize your mix of light, regular and super tampons. BUT, these tampons do not absorb well at all. At first I thought I was heavier than usual, going through tampons quickly. Didn't think anything of it. Bought another box. Same thing. "Heavy flow" and going through a lot of tampons. This month, I finally noticed it and switched back to store bought. The store bought expands more than these do. Try a store bought tampon, then a couple of Lola in a row and then switch back to a store bought tampon. You'll notice Lola tampon doesn't expand and abosrb like the store bought.

Gave the plastic applicator tampons a go and really wanted to love them as they’re organic and why not treat your insides right. Had multiple leaks with these guys, though! Another reviewer’s comments are accurate - the tampon doesn’t expand to absorb, so once you’ve hit the limit, it’s done! Fortunately I was able to try them over the weekend while at home and had a liner on. Would’ve been a much bigger issue had I not. Wishing these women and the company well, but I’m going back to Playtex Sport for now for leak-proof protection and comfort.
