I have used innovo 5 times a week for 16 weeks, over this time I have not had any improvement to my problem, so will stop using now.

First few times that I used the innova I found it tricky to get into place as the pads are very sticky. Also removing it after use can be quite painful as it sticks to delicate skin. That said it does work. I have seen an improvement since using it and will continue to use it. I now use it about 3 times a week. During the treatment I find the sensation quite irritating and it makes my thighs itch. I do put up with this as it’s a means to an end but it is not actually enjoyable.

I ordered an innovo unit on a Black Friday special offer and opted for a payment plan to spread the cost. I received an email about 2 weeks after to notify of despatch and then a text message the following day to advise that the item would be out for delivery the next day. I wasn’t able to take time off work so decided to collect the item with the missed delivery card. On the day of delivery I recieved a message to confirm the item was delivered with a link which took me to a picture of my front door with my wheelie bin dumped on the doorstep and accepted by someone named Tyler. My bin usually lives at the bottom of the garden and I have a daughter - my neighbour below also has a daughter - neither of our children are named Tyler...... So... I then called Innovo that evening after doubly confirming no Tyler existed in the flat below or two doors on either side of my home. I reported as above and was told to check my neighbours and then told that a supervisor would call back.... no call back. I called the following day and again relayed the story as above - again I was told that a supervisor would call back and if he didn’t the same call handler would. Needless to say but I didn’t get the call back!! So yet another call - after this amount of nonsense I wasn’t so sure that I wanted the headache - again I was told someone would call and blah blah as above - no call. I decided to just write off the £20 odd I’d paid and left it at that - and still no parcel btw. February - almost 3 mths later I notice a payment debit for Innovo and I am absolutely hopping mad! Obviously I call them and the poor lady on the other end of the phone got her eardrums annihilated (- I did apologise to her though!) and surprise surprise says a supervisor will call back!!?! After more ear annihilation I reluctantly agree to hang up and wait for his call. And then he called!! And I missed his call!! When we finally got to speak the supervisor really couldn’t be more apologetic and acknowledged there had been a catalogue of errors. He also offered to send me out another unit as a priority but I refused - I was quite annoyed and didn’t really want to give them the opportunity to mess up again - although I must say his customer service game was top level and he certainly did his job brilliantly. If I hadn’t had to call so often he would’ve convinced me enough to stay but I chose a refund instead. It is a shame that it got to the stage it did as I had been reading about the Innovo for a little while and was looking forward to being ‘cured’ without medication.

I find the apparatus difficult to put on. The remote box consistently fails and it means contacting customer services to correct. Overall quite reappointed.
