I have had my Garden for a month and I am loving it. I’ve had one salad from it but everything is growing so well. I know I will be reaping many harvests soon.

I do *not* have a green thumb. Despite this, we decided to plant a container garden, for the first time ever, this year. Fresh produce has been scarce here in the Chicago suburbs since May. I don't eat meat, and I felt like I was withering from the lack of fresh food. My little victory garden struggled, and that's being kind. Despite copious amounts of reading, I don't know what I'm doing, and I'm better at killing them than I am at making them grow and produce. Then I saw an ad for Gardyn on FaceBook. I debated for a long time. We sat down and did the math on how much it would cost us to build our own hydroponic system, to our specifications (it had to be both big enough and small enough, and because I'm me, it had to be aesthetically pleasing), and it came to a bit under $500.00. Then we asked ourselves the real question - could we even do it ourselves? Nope. We aren't building type people, and also, if I couldn't make growing stuff outside work, what made me think I could make growing stuff hydroponically inside work? So, Kelby/AI was 100% worth the price difference to us. Having someone tell us exactly what to do and exactly when to do it is PRICELESS. Not to mention, our time is worth something, and other than snapping the pieces together, we didn't have to build anything. My husband also did the math on cost effectiveness. Based on the amount of money I was spending weekly on produce, pre-COVID, this will pay for itself, cost-wise, in just under seven months. (It's worth noting that we're solar, so it has no impact on our electricity bills. Your results will vary based on electricity and the amount of money you spent on produce pre-Gardyn). That's with the unit AND the two year subscription. As far as we're concerned, it has already paid for itself in the four months we've owned it. The store shelves are barren, and we've been continually harvesting for three months now. I eat a LOT of greens. Despite two large salads daily, a smaller salad daily for my nine year old, greens on sandwiches, in tacos, and in soups, you can hardly even tell we've been harvesting. It grows back so fast. This is, hands down, the best apocalypse purchase we have made. It's so nice, we bought it twice! One was absolutely enough to feed out family of four, daily, but I wanted to experiment with my own seeds that take up more room. So Gardyn number two has cherry tomatoes and sweet peppers purchased from the company, and I also have egg plant, green beans, and cucumbers of my own going. We got three and a half months of continuous production from our first plants before anything bolted, and over these past months I've watched Kelby/the AI get more intelligent. Back in June it would tell me, "You have greens ready to harvest." since that time, it's become far more specific. Yesterday it told me that I could harvest my arugula and breen specifically. Four months in and I'm a HUGE fan.

Assembled my garden on the 9th of September and a few weeks later I was eating fresh vegetables every day awesome way to get a healthier lifestyle. Even bought my son and daughter-in-law one and they love it! Recommend the Gardyn to anyone wanting an easy way to grow fresh veggies!

My Gardyn has become a sanctuary of sorts. A place where living things grow and the sun seems to always be in season. The fact that it also grows delicious food is a wonderful add-on feature. And we aren't talking about a few leaves of lettuce here, but enough lettuce, tomatoes and peppers for our family of five and then some.

I’ve had my Gardyn since July 12, and have been pretty amazed by it. I have a whole food plant based way of eating and wanted to incorporate more dark leafy greens greens into my daily menu. Thing is, it’s too difficult to stock up (their fridge life is so short); a lot goes to waste. And I prefer to hit the supermarket just once a week. But now with Gardyn, I always have fresh greens - daily - and also herbs, tomatoes and peppers. Plus I feel good about growing my own food, or at least a portion of it. And my body feels great, having access to real nutrition, lovingly sown by yours truly. And have I mentioned that I grab more munchies from there than the pantry?! I’m so grateful to be living in a condo with year-round beautiful, fresh produce. Thanks for being so innovative, Gardyn!! My health has really benefitted!! 💚🌱🍃🙌

Purchasing a Gardyn has been the best investment! This allowed me to continue to eat healthy lettuces, herbs, and now tomatoes and jalapenos, when it isn't even safe to go to the grocery store! I show everyone I can and encourage them to make their own investment.... in their health and well being!

This has been the best pandemic project! Our kids are so excited to watch the plants grow and we are all learning so much. We love the ease and style of our Gardyn and growing our food!
