My mother and I ordered a set for my husbands 30th. The chest set is absolutely beautiful! Cannot fault how well it has been made and the engraving was so clean and lovely. We can’t thank My Chess Sets enough!

I ordered a luxury chess set 325$ supposed to be shipped within 5-7 business days. The deadline came and went with no chess set, and no explanation from them either. No email, no update, nothing. Since I needed it quickly, I asked for a refund. They confirmed they would process it, but I never actually received the refund. I followed up again to ask what was going on, and now I'm getting no response at all. Just silence.

The Bud RoseWood Bundle Set is an excellent choice: the pieces are more than expected in both quality and design; the photos don't do them justice. I am a chess set collector and intend on doing more business with MyChessSets in the future. Highly recommended.

BUYERS BEWARE! Customer service was unresponsive when I reached out to initiate a return. They only responded stating I could initiate a return and would be responsible for return fees, then did not respond afterwards on next steps for the return. The agent was very unprofessional and refused to initiate a return unless I changed my review to a 5-star so beware of other false reviews.

Dear Rachel, you reached out to us about an engraving that was missing from the order. Upon checking, we saw that no engraving was ordered, nor did you pay for an engraving. We immediately offered to send a full refund once the set is returned to us, you just didn’t want to pay for the return, which is the customer’s responsibility. We did not condition the return of the set for a positive review at any point, we offered to pay for the return ourselves if you’d provide your honest feedback as you said you liked the chess set, just wanted to include an engraving. I was very disappointed with my experience with this shop and would advise potential customers to be cautious. I placed an order on May 6 and intended to give it as a present on May 31. The website stated that delivery takes 5–7 days, so I believed I had ordered well in advance. By May 16, I still had not received a tracking number, so I contacted customer support. I was told that the order had not yet been transferred to the carrier but would be transferred very soon. At that point, more than the advertised delivery timeframe had already passed. From then on, I contacted support almost daily requesting an update and a tracking number. Each time I received essentially the same response: that the order would be transferred very soon and that I should not worry. On May 16, the company also offered a $20 compensation payment for the delay. However, I never received it. I checked with my bank multiple times, and no such payment was received. Throughout this period, I was repeatedly assured that the order would arrive by May 31. However, on May 27, I was informed that delivery by that date would not be possible because the order had still not been transferred to the carrier. As a result, I had to request a refund because I would no longer need the item after that date. The most frustrating part was being reassured until the last moment that the order would arrive on time, only to learn a few days before the occasion that it would not. As of June 17, I have still not received either the promised $20 compensation payment or any refund. More than a month has passed since the order was placed, and not a single penny has been returned. Based on my experience, the advertised delivery timelines did not match what actually happened with my order, and customer communication did not provide accurate expectations about when it would be shipped.

My wife bought me a chess set for Christmas. They promised free shipping. Then we got a bill from FedEx. My wife contacted the company and they promised that they would take care of the FedEx bill. It is now Feb 21 2026 and FedEX is threatening us with collection. Most recent threat was in our mailbox yesterday. We will never do business with them again.
