I ordered the 3‑pair glasses deal for $119 and received them on time, but unfortunately none of the glasses are usable. I submitted the correct prescription, yet I cannot see clearly out of any of the three pairs. I reached out through email and text message and received replies, but no actual resolution. The customer service has been extremely disappointing, and there is no clear information on how to return the glasses or get a refund. At this point, I’m out $119 and stuck with three pairs of glasses I cannot use. If the glasses had been made correctly, I would have had no issue but that wasn’t the case. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Totally ILLEGAL SCAM company. Will take your money, ship you defective glasses, and will not issue a refund no matter what you say. Many customers have had the same terrible experience! They try to force unhappy customers to remove negative reviews in exchange for a partial refund. If you refuse to delete a truthful, negative review, they just say no, they will not give your money back! PLEASE, do NOT lose your hard-earned money like I did! These MUUKAL people are CRIMINALS!

Love my new glasses. However, I selected medium face width and the glasses are a little too big. I should have selected the small face width (?).

Do not like glasses from Muukal, their offer to fix didn't help as those glasses still didn't work for me, the frames were great by the actual lenses were not. I ordered multiple pairs and wasn't happy with any of them, it felt like I was in a fishbowl. Muukal doesn't have a process to allow you to get the frames you want even if your PD an/or RX doesn't 'work right', they also don't notify you that the frames might not work for your RX/PD so you have no idea till they come (many weeks later). If you have a simple RX maybe they will work for you but I was not happy

***update you can see for yourself the type of company they are by their reply. They clearly wrote they don’t treat people with gratitude. Again I simply ordered a second pair in a year. Their comment speaks volumes itself. And of course none of my reviews which is only this one is going to be good. Again buyer beware look at what you are dealing with. ***. I had a very disappointing and frankly shocking experience with this company. I placed an order for two pairs of glasses, and instead of any proper communication, my order was simply refunded without explanation—no email, no notification, nothing. When I reached out to ask what happened, I received unprofessional and rude text messages. I was told that because I chose lower-priced glasses, my order would not be accepted again. There is absolutely nothing on their website stating any restriction on purchasing their more affordable items, nor any policy explaining this behavior. What made this even worse was the tone of their response. I was told I was not “welcome” to purchase from them and was accused of not having a “grateful heart.” This is completely unacceptable customer service. Instead of addressing a legitimate question, they chose to insult and dismiss a paying customer. Businesses are free to set policies—but those policies should be clearly stated and applied professionally. Refunding an order without notice and then responding with hostility is not how you treat customers. I would strongly caution others before ordering from this company. Transparency, respect, and basic professionalism seem to be lacking here.

I ordered from them after my insurance company changed my vision benefits. It was such an easy process. From start to delivery was about ten days. They fit so well! I am extremely happy and will order from them again.

I would dissuade any one from shopping with Muukal. I've ordered Readers my entire adult life (I'm a professor and author), so I'm very familiar with them. What I received was not simply not my magnification: it was 100s of degrees off, and they refused to acknowledge this. The glasses were also cheap and loose and poorly made. They looked nothing like the photos. But hey, I would have kept them if I could see. Any other company I've ordered Readers from accepts returns no questions asked. And, I always write them positive reviews. But, I explicitly asked Muukal about their Return policy; they assured me they offered a 100% guarantee. Now, they delay, they obfuscate, they say "my prescription must be wrong." (There is no prescription; they are Readers!). I urge you to save the energy and the expense, and shop elsewhere.
