I called Mutual of Omaha to ask about final-expense coverage for an 83-year-old Texas resident. As soon as I disclosed that I’m a licensed insurance agent helping her compare options, the representative disconnected the call without explaining whether they could assist or directing me to the appropriate department. I found the interaction unprofessional and disappointing.

If I could put zero I would this insurance company is a full scam. You would think that you will be paying towards your premium on your life insurance policy and when you decide to cancel, don’t think you’re getting any of that money back. This is the only life insurance company I ever dealt with that does this they have you paying each month for life insurance so you’re not paying towards anything this company is a big scam. Do not I repeat. Do not go with this company.

One star because I have to. This glorified scam artist of a company thinks you can put a 365 day cap on murder. Murder doesn't have a statue of limitation. However, this company believes full heartedly that its 365 days. They are full of fake promises and finds any loop hole available to not honor the policy. Any of you corrupt scammers think that little bit of money owed to a family will bring their loved ones back? Absolutely not, and I sure hope you never have to experience what I did. Do not buy accidental life insurance period. No matter what the salesperson tries to tell you. You are young, your more likely to be in an accident, etc. Shame on all of you who stand for this company and take advantage of people for years.

Superb Customer Service! Excellent fast pay on claims service! Do not think twice about whether the Company will pay claims or not! Has an Excellent financial stability rating from all the highest reputable reporting firms! And,finally, they’re not going anywhere; stable as a rock! FYI: They are the original company to partner with Medicare when it was formed by Congress! Thank you, Omaha; Thank you.

Where is the negative Stars button!? This company’s entire staff is full of empty promises and false expectations! More than underwhelming. Waiting on them for task completion, we ended up doing more than half of the leg work for them. After a plethora of requests for information regarding status etc., one representative Jamie Hung kept saying maybe tomorrow or the next day we will know something MULTIPLE times. Finally…he said, probably on Friday I’ll have that. Friday came, and all our emails went to auto reply informing us he went on Vacation for a week! Pawned off to Tiffany Montalvo who was very good about feeding us a string along. Never again! I hope this gets blasted everywhere.

mutual of omaha part n is not paying bills. I started my medicare June 1, 2026 and have been calling about unpaid bills for months. I saw on medicare.gov my MUTUAL OF OMAHA IS SUPPOSED TO END SEPTEMBER 15, 2026.NOTHING BUT THE RUN AROUND.

Getting my mom's Long Term Care Claims to go through to the Claims Department has been a struggle for the past 3 years. If you need to call to ask any questions you will get a message that a representative will be with you shortly but you will be put on hold for hours! If you ask them to call you back it won't happen. I sat on hold for 3 1/2 hrs before finally hanging up. Once you do get through to someone they wiill tell you they received the billing statement but it is currently pending. My mom's claim has been "pending" for 3 weeks! Many of the employees are working from home so you will randomly talk with someone that could be sitting by a pool. There is no communication within the company and there's a high turnover rate. You will never talk to the same person or supervisor. Extremely frustrated!!

It can't. It's a setup for you to fail. The reps are ruder than anyone I have ever dealt with.
