Hi Gregory, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. Fuel prices and discounts can change day to day based on retail prices and the rates set directly by each of our truck stops. That means discounts may be higher or lower depending on the specific stop and current fuel market conditions. Mudflap is always free to check so you can compare options before fueling. While some stops offer stronger savings than others on any given day, we are constantly working to add more competitive options and deliver the best discounts available. We appreciate your past support and hope to offer the level of savings you're looking for on your future routes.

Hi Rochelle, thank you for sharing your experience. We understand your frustration with how difficult this fueling attempt was. The hold you saw is a standard authorization required when using a credit or debit card in the app to ensure funds are available before fueling. We communicate this hold amount before you confirm your fuel code so there are no surprises. Any unused amount is released immediately after canceling the code, though individual banks can take a few business days to process and reflect the update. To avoid holds altogether, switching to a bank account as your payment method is a great alternative. We're sorry for the headache at the pump and the disappointing experience with support. If you ever have questions or need assistance while fueling in the future, we're available at 1-888-885-3835 or [email protected] and we’d be happy to help.

Hi Alexander, thank you for being a loyal Mudflap customer over the past two years. We’re truly sorry for the delay with your Mudflap Fuel Card application and for how you were treated on the phone. That’s definitely not the experience we want you to have, and we understand why you're frustrated. We’ve sent a request through Trustpilot for your contact information so we can reach out directly, look into your application status, and get this sorted out for you as soon as possible. We hope to have the chance to make things right.

Hi Steven, thanks for sharing your experience. We understand that the savings can vary, especially when there are fewer participating stops in your area. Mudflap discounts are based on each stop’s retail price and the discount they’re able to offer, so some locations will naturally have stronger savings than others. Since Mudflap is free to use and check, we always recommend comparing prices before you fuel to make sure you’re getting the best deal available. We’re also continually working to add more competitive stops and expand coverage so there are more options to choose from. If you'd like to recommend a specific stop near you, chat us in the app or give us a call anytime and we'll see what we can do: 1-888-885-3835.
