The hold you saw is a standard authorization required when using a credit or debit card in the app to ensure funds are available before fueling. We communicate this hold amount before you confirm your fuel code so there are no surprises. Any unused amount is released immediately after canceling the code, though individual banks can take a few business days to process and reflect the update. To avoid holds altogether, switching to a bank account as your payment method is a great alternative. We're sorry for the headache at the pump and the disappointing experience with support.
