This is a major let down
This is a major let down, even at the sales price of $200. Thank goodness I didnt pay the original $400. The stuffing feels like crumpled up news paper. The implication is that it will fluff up over time after it is unpacked, it does not do that, in fact it has several empty spots. All of the materials are cheap. This is hands down the worst dog bed I've purchased and unfortunately the most expensive.

Although the fluffy bed arrived as…
Although the fluffy bed arrived as advertised, my skittish dog has yet to use it. He lies next to it but has yet to take the plunge. I did rub it on him to give it his scent when it came but despite my urging he has been not willing. I am hoping he will use it soon.

Jo, it sounds like your pup is taking his time before giving the new bed his seal of approval! We’re glad to hear that the bed arrived as expected, even if he’s still a little hesitant to climb in. It’s actually a good sign that he’s comfortable resting beside it. Sometimes a skittish dog simply needs a little more time to get used to a new texture, smell, or sleeping spot. We hope he soon feels confident enough to take the plunge and discover his new cosy place!

Second review of new product
I purchased Mr Fluffy back in 2020 and was’t impressed with it. After a few years the CEO contacted me saying they redesigned it and wanted to send me one to update my review. After having the bed for a few weeks there are some differences. The new bed is a little smaller than the old one. Another difference is that you can unzip the outer and inner sections to take out the sealed fluff and wash the part that the dog sleeps on. The newer one is not as soft as the old style. I put the two on the floor and the dog lays in the older one more comfortable then the new one. He hangs out of the new one and doesn’t fit in it the same when he does try to use it. The quality is the same in both. However the newer one is priced 10.00 higher.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share such a detailed follow-up review and, especially, for giving our redesigned bed another try after your experience in 2020. We’re glad you noticed the improvements to the removable sections and washable design, while we also understand your concerns about the differences in size, softness, and comfort compared with the original bed. It’s important for us to hear that your dog still prefers the older version, and we’re sorry the newer design hasn’t provided the same experience for him. Your detailed feedback on these differences, as well as the price, is genuinely valuable to us as we continue evaluating and improving the product. Thank you again for giving the updated bed a fair try and for sharing your honest experience.

Beautiful bed
We live in New Zealand. Our order was responded to straight away and the bed arrived in 3 weeks. We also ordered some products from Australia and are still waiting for them. The bed was very well packed. Unfortunately the dog won't go near it. We have put it away until she is a little older and hopefully more sensible.
Response from MrFluffyFriend™Oct 6, 2026
Lynn and John, thank you for sharing your experience! We’re pleased to hear that your order was handled promptly, the bed arrived safely, and you were happy with how well it was packed. We completely understand that some dogs need a little more time before accepting a new bed. Hopefully, once she’s a little older and more settled, she’ll decide to give it a try and discover how cosy it can be. We hope it becomes a favourite spot for her in time!

Free replacement after first review
I was contacted by the company about a previous review I made. They offered me a free bed to try again as they had made improvements to the design of the dog bed.The bed cover you can now wash separately. My dog likes the bed as he got in it straight away after it was left to settle after arriving vacuum packed not as small as last time but was still difficult to get into. The filling is still the same and clumps up so needs shaking .
Response from MrFluffyFriend™Oct 6, 2026
Sam, thank you for updating your review and for giving us the opportunity to make things right. We’re delighted that you decided to give our improved design another try and that your dog climbed straight into the new bed! It’s also great to hear that you appreciate the separately washable cover. As the bed is vacuum packed for shipping, allowing it time to settle and gently shaking and massaging it can help redistribute the filling and reduce clumping. We truly appreciate your honest feedback and are so pleased that the updated bed has made a positive difference.
