Constant emails up to the very last minute asking for documentation. They could have given us a list of probable documents needed with a provisional list of possibles. Instead I got emails almost every day including the day before settlement asking for something that wasn’t easy to get. The person that I dealt with seemed a little annoyed at the end of the process which didn’t make me a happy camper. Even our financial advisor said the process was crazy and said we and those who were inconvenienced should be compensated for the company’s ineptitude and running us around like chickens with our heads cut off. Just when we thought we had everything submitted there would be another request. Beware!

Everything was smooth. Chris came to our house to collect information for our refinancing. From there his team helped us along to get all paperwork in order. Refinance went perfect, thank you guys!!

Overall I had a pleasant experience buying my first time home! The guy I worked with went out of his way to answer all questions and was there for me 100%.

Excellent experience. Jason came to our house and just got it done. Not 1 problem. They have an online doc system. They made this easier than buying a refrigerator.

We bought a condo remotely and Mortgage America set up a private portal for all our documents and worked with the 5 hour time change. They were patient with us and extremely professional. The portal was easy to access and contained all of our documents. Everyone in the office was helpful and friendly. This is a quality company, professional, caring, and efficient.
