DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS. I would give less than one star, if it were possible. We spend tens of thousands of dollars annually on discretionary items, as we have been blessed to be able to do so. However, seldom have we ever run across a company as shady and as unscrupulous as GALAXY / MOONPOD. There is no customer service at all, and once you start dealing with them, it becomes obvious that it is a scam; any reputable company will stand by their product, if in fact, they have a quality product. In cases when the product is inferior, as in this case, the company should practice standard return process methods, timelines and fees, and work on improving the product and customer experience. However, when dealing with MOONPOD / GALAXY, it is painfully obvious they must rely on stealing about 25% of your money, simply for trying out their product and for believing their hyped marketing of the old bean bag chair that sells for $30 and not over $300.00 which is what they charge for the base model. By the way you can pick it up a better one at your local store for under $50. This company did not respond until I got my money back from my CC company; they created fictitious, superfluous and made up return charges, as to keep an extraordinary proportion (and industry outrageous) amount of customers’ money, when customer returns the product (if they even acknowledge a return request, playing the game of ‘you only have 30 days to return’ and complete silence to all return requests, ZERO response to requests for return). Seems this company spends big money in marketing and in giving profits to the unscrupulous management, would would not be surprised to know that the very people behind this company already have legal records; they spend very little on product research and development, with almost no funds/money allotted to customer service after sales. If you want to buy, they will take your money in less than a minute and send you product in 3 days. If you want to return, you will be lucky to get 75% of your money back in a couple of months, and most of the time it is simply impossible to get any money back or return anything, as they play games once they have your money, like: you you cannot return the merchandise without a return authorization number, we will issue you one soon (but they never send you one, in spite of multiple attempts, they have automated responses that keep a robotic dialogue going (delaying time while they have your money) but never mention a return authorization number. Days go by, weeks go by, months go by, no one contacts you, no one responds to your inquiries, and they keep sitting on your money and finally if you’re able to return it after playing hardball like taking your money back from the credit card company, they will do everything possible to keep up to 30% of your initial purchase price even though you never use the product. Once you try the product, it becomes obvious why they need to keep that much if you return it/when you return it, because the impeccable marketing dream product they sell for X10 the price of a comparable bean bag, one realizes this company simple will not make money selling an inferior product for outrageous prices. If the product was any good, even the high price could be overlooked because of quality, but this is not the case. Simply do not conduct business with this company unless you want inferior products, no customer service after the original sale, and a maze of scams and silence for anything other than taking your money. Very disappointed, their marketing campaign is very strong and appears to be legitimate and with quality, but it’s very deceiving, and in today’s world it feels like identity theft, something that happens and you know it does, but it wouldn’t happen to you, until it does. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN. CHECK BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND SEE WHY.
