Their products and prices are very good and a wide selection to choose from. BUT BEWARE! Once you place an order your email address will get about six emails a week and they are either unwilling or just unresponsive to request to unsubscribe from their spam mail. Trying to do so on their website is a fail and emailed requests to them are ignored also

I would give Monoprice a 5 for customer service but a disappointed 2 for product quality, at least for one item - their active noise cancelling headphone, BT 300ANC. The sound quality was good and the Bluetooth connection worked well, however, the ANC was a bust. I chatted with them and the unit was replaced promptly, but the second one had the same problem. Again, they responded immediately offering a refund, which I accepted as I had lost confidence that a properly operating unit could be provided. Perhaps, I was expecting too much for a very inexpensive ANC headphone but it should operate as advertised.I would not hesitate buying from them again, but my expectations of the product will not be high.

The items themselves were great and work well, but the 3 star review is due to shipping issues. To keep it short, never got a tracking number so I had to contact monoprice every time I wanted to figure out what was going on. From payment of order to getting the items it somehow took 2+ weeks to get 3 charging cbales that would fit in a envelope and their standard shipping. Besides shipping, the website, support, and product was great.

The support team was very helpful, however my MP Tube Amp unit is no longer valid for replacement due to warranty expiration - even though the problems with it (hum, poor BT connectivity) have been an issue since day #1.

I have been trying to resolve an account issue since October. I have called and chatted at least a half dozen times over the last 3 months. Everyone that I talk to has been friendly. They indicated that they needed time to research my issue and would contact me either soon or the next day. To this date, no one has contacted me. Love the products both professionally and personally, but the customer service is woefully inadequate. comment added 1/30/2019 I was contacted by Paul within a few hours of my 1-star rating. Before I had the opportunity to respond the next morning, my issue had been resolved. Whether by coincidence or direct action on Paul's behalf, my issue was resolved.

Monoprice have been 5 stars for cables, no problems there. After using their cables several times, I took a leap of faith and picked up one of the electric guitars (The Indio that looks like a Fender Strat), and have been disappointed. The first one I received could not be tuned, even after adjusting the bridge - both string lengths and string action. I returned the guitar, and was only offered the option of receiving a replacement of the same model. Although I actually wanted to just return the guitar and call it an interesting experiment, I went along with receiving the replacement since that was the only option. The second one arrived yesterday, and it appears to have the same issues. I will work on it to see if it can be adjusted, but at this point I am feeling like the product is just faulty, and their return policy should allow for a refund.

I was astonished that Monoprice sent me a request to review them. My most recent experience has been nothing but frustration and disappointment. So why 3 stars... In the past they were perfect, this time terrible product (never buy open box 3D printers from them there is no quality control at all) but still decent customer service. My most recent experience involved buying their brand of 3D printer as open box and getting a machine that was a little dinged up, but also had a completely bound up Z-axis. After spending 2 hours trying to fix it I had to return it as junk. They were decent about getting me out a replacement, but the 2nd printer was significantly more damaged than the first. Totally uninspected since a control axis was literally hanging off upon opening the box. To add insult to injury nearly every screw/bolt had the hex head rounded out making repair impossible. There is simply no way and real inspection occurred before it was re-added to stock and shipped out as "open box." I'm now mid 2nd return and just want my money back.

I was asked to write a review for a recent purchase, warranty return, and purchase replacement. I had issues with a HDMI amplifier/splitter POE model. I worked with customer service to try to find a solution. The device does not work as expected no matter what we tried working with your tech department so we sent to whole thing back. The tech said I would receive and email with instructions but did not follow thru. I had to contact support again to get information two weeks later. I received a shipping label and partial instructions to send it back for replacement. The first email was unclear on how to exactly send it back so I reached out a third time via email saying the instructions weren't clear. The following correspondence returned an email with different instructions. There was more to this email then the previous. I was also told in the newest email the the prior email had all the instructions. It did not. The second email was more detailed. After all that ( this has been close to 3 weeks now ) I was told that it would be 7-10 days after they received the items before they would issue a replacement. Unacceptable. I finally received the replacement item a few days later. This one does the same as the other. I will be contacting technical support again to try to sort thru it.
