I’ve been using it for a new floor
I’ve been using it for a new floor. I tell people the process is like waxing a car; put the oil with a hard pad, let it set for a few minutes, then buff it off. And your done. I have l ordered twice, received it within a reasonable time. Love that you do not need to put a poly on top. I’m half way done with our project, and will be ordering More. I love how our floors look.

Fantastic product
This product is high quality, and provides a stunning finish. It’s a one step finish, and that in itself cuts back on time. Depending on the type of wood I’m applying the Rubio to, I may or may not apply a second coat. Walnut looks fantastic with a second coat applied. It smells delicious, unlike other finishes I’ve used in the past. I mainly use this product on butcher block countertops and look forward to trying out the exterior finishes for my customers doors.

Excellent results
I used the Cherry Coral 2C on an unfinished desk, and the results were beautiful. The product was very easy to apply, and even though I have never used anything like this before, the finished product was perfect. I did apply a coat of Universal Maintenance Oil for a slight sheen, and though it was a little harder to work with, it looked good. The best part, since I am extremely sensitive to chemical fume, was that the oil is non-toxic and there were no fumes at all, just a slight vegetable oil scent. I spent a lot of time researching options, and I definitely feel that I made the right choice!

Our go-to floor treatment
I love Monocoat because it’s a great looking floor treatment and it’s terrifically easy to apply. We’ve used the Cotton White on a cypress ceiling and a combo of Precolor Easy Monsoon Grey and Oil Plus 2c Havana on reclaimed heart pine floors. (The latter application was done seven years ago and the floors are still in perfect shape!) We’re about to do a black floor with the Intense Black Precolor Easy and Charcoal Oil Plus 2c and we’re looking forward to it!

Great product from a great company
Great product from a great company. I mistakenly ordered the natural color thinking it was clear. When I reached out to them, they overnight new product to us so we could finish our project.
