After much research on how to best protect my new butcher block countertops, I decided Monocoat would be the best choice with the amount of protection the product offered. So far after 2 months I think we absolutely made the right decision. They are a breeze to clean, and the finish the Monocoat added was gorgeous. My mom is having butcher block installed in her home soon and will be using it as well. This was my contractors first time applying Monocoat and will be recommending it to future clients.

I'm giving a 4 star review because I have not had it on my countertop for more than 2 weeks. I will say that the customer service was exceptional, I needed to call to ask a few questions. The product was easy to put on, had virtually no smell and looks great on my new wood counters. Only time will tell how well it repels liquids

I have used monocoat before for interior cabinetry its a great finish this time I needed a exterior finish so I tried Monocoat Hybrid wood Protector for the exterior this a great way to finish a door it will not peel or crack when it starts to fade you just go back over it. I don't know how long it will last but I love it today
