Ease of website
Ease of website, immediate shipping and perfect amount for a sample and good instructions. I have been looking for the perfect stain and finish for an entry bench and some open shelving. I have ordered samples twice, only because I can’t make up my mind! But both times they have been shipped immediately, which is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to finally making a decision and ordering the final product.

Castle brown on red oak
Just finished my dining room and foyer floors and they look great. I’ve used RM on wood slabs in the past and they came out fantastic So I gave it a try on the floors and I’m very impressed. I also used the maintenance oil for more sheen 👍. Very easy to apply both with a buffer and no smell like poly.

Pleasantly surprised
My first time using Monocoat and I was pleasantly surprised! It was easy to use, went on super smooth and left an amazing, close to the wood finish that seems to have really popped the grain with a beautiful satin sheen.

Don't Really Know Yet
Products recently arrived after being unavailable for a few weeks on back order. Haven't used it yet. Am somewhat appalled at the high price to quantity ratio, relative to it's stated superior qualities without specific comparisons to other materials - Monocoat compared to: polyurethanes, spar varnish, lacquer, tung oil, danish oil, etc. - in terms of hardness, finish sheen, number of coats required, durability, and other performance results as well. Honestly, I purchased it based on a youtube video - you know which one - to test it for myself on projects underway - shelving, desk top, table top, hall bench, drawers, blanket chest. Hopefully a little will go a long way, and it will perform better than expected. Then I will come back and redo the rating.

Tremendous product
Tremendous product! I first used in 2010, the repairability is phenomenal. The end grain sealing is excellent, one must just exercise patience and allow the oil to cure fully before use. A little goes a long way!

A little goes a long way
I ordered a sample to stain/seal two shelves I made. They look gorgeous. I was worried the small amount of the sample would not be enough but it was. I even had some left over. Remember a little goes a long way. The smell from the stain was minimal, which is awesome. If you are looking for something for a small or big project look no further. One coat wonder! Amazing!
